Battlefront is right. There are supposedly some clones but most OT troopers are humans and by the time ANH comes around the clones are rare and practically extinct in the ranks.

Hate to break it to you, OT Troopers are not clones so in legacy thats nothing different. The Legacy Empire is based off of the post Imperial Remnant and doesn't have the alien bigotry of Palpatine's Empire. More or less its become an example that the Empire itself wasn't evil, it was Palpatine and his policies that were. Well at least until the new Sith come along and take over the new Empire by force. Then it goes to heck. EU isn't really that confusing, you just have a LOT of reading to do since theres an actual progression of history to follow.

Although as a darky, you'd be hardpressed to find other kits that have black so you'd have to paint the helmet. Also don't forget about the little things like better lenses.

if thats what you're getting its just black FX armor so anything here regarding FX armor would really apply. Just realize that if you do get that, your costume will not be qualified for events that are film canon only as that is an EU costume.

But realize that will probably take the glue off your entire helmet if you do it.

Thats hard to say without seeing the actual insides of the thing. Its definitely possible but until someone sees exactly what it does and sounds like, I wouldn't get my hopes up. Yet.

Well unless the 501st commits to an actual definition of what recasting actually is, instead of the ambiguous definition that exists, which I might add is going to ruffle some feathers regardless, you really can't fairly police it and as the rules state its not your or the legion's job to do so. Plus, if you look at it from a certain point of view, the 501st will always be condoning recasting as long as they allow members to be admitted with recasted armor. Granted thats the extremist point of view, which I don't share mind you, but I'm sure theres someone out there that would think that. Imaging trying to check every submission's armor for caster pedigree. YUCK.

I realize that. I was just pointing out the irony of thieves calling people thieves and thought it was relevant to the discussion. While this hobby wouldn't exist without said IP theft, sometimes I think people need reminders of that.

I find all the arguments on this ironic since you're all arguing about stealing something thats technically been stolen in the first place. Its not like any of us have the legal right to produce the white armor in the first place.

Even before it came out it was going for between $5-600. I know because I seriously considered buying one for a while... Glad I didn't but thats another story. Remember people, MSRP is pretty meaningless.

Well RomFX or the Hyperdyne are very very nice but they are EXPENSIVE. Too expensive for my taste personally. I don't know about that setup Triktoys has and I'm sure from your hesitance that the wording on their item description sends up red flags for you like it does for me. They do have an actual static burst & sound module that seems pretty nice for the money, but its currently out of stock and being upgraded according to threads I've seen here on these forums. From what I've seen, Skullworx does not have a static burst module but you can usually get that to work with a separate module.
