Definitely give it some time. Keep in mind that you ordered right before Christmas. I did the same a year ago, and received mine in just about a month, if memory serves me correctly. Looking forward to the build thread!

Looking real good Amir! Good Luck! Only a few things that I see that might merit commenting - even if they wouldn't necessarily affect approval - your shoulder bells (in the front view picture) seem to be set rather wide, and this may just be a result of suiting up quickly as you said, but the tops of the bells should be closer to the bridges than they look in that picture. Your shims could use a bit of ABS paste/smoothing to minimize their appearance as shims, but they are not bad. Aside from that, the clips on your TD should be up against the bottom of the control panel and held in place with black flat-head screws as opposed to rivets, even if they're never seen by anyone else. As I said, just something that could be improved for greater accuracy. Armor looks fantastic though. Clearly a very good, high quality build!

I was amused right up until I read this one. Then I laughed out loud. ROFL.... Great stuff, indeed! My wife does not yet understand this compulsion fully, but I'm already (internally) planning my next two to three builds... LoL

The waiting just sucks, Jeff. LoL. That's for all of us. I was not waiting on ATA, but my "rule of thumb" for communication with Rob at RT-Mod was this: If it had been over a week (eight days or more) since I had any communication with him, I felt it was alright/appropriate to send him an email asking for a status update, and I didn't begin that rule until I had been told that my armor was being pulled next. Prior to that, I'd send him an email about every five or six weeks to see if the list had moved at all. That, I felt, was a fair timeline with respect to the fact that the armor kit makers have their own lives - wife, kids, pets, jobs, hobbies, etc - beyond making my/our armor kit(s). The armor makers are all class-act guys though, and I feel that if you're respectful in approaching and dealing with them, that you'll receive the same treatment in return. They understand that we are paying a pretty nice sum of money for a product, and that we are indeed waiting a long time (in most cases) to receive it, and that with every passing day, we grow more and more like children after the 10th of December. Shoot him an email. You're good, brother.

Well, for the armor build, I had my infamous technical difficulty in which I put not one, not two, not three, but four sewing machine needles in backwards after breaking the original one by trying to sew through sticky-back Velcro, webbing, and elastic. I caused myself much stress and days of delay being mad at the "stupid machine" (but I did look good doing it, eh?). With the E-11... There was the Bayonet lug that was very clearly pinned and two-part epoxied in place - upside down. We definitely live and learn, don't we?

Steven, do yourself a favor first. Go and read through several build threads. You'll likely be surprised at what "not handy" people such as yourself have been capable of doing here in the past. If all you want is to have a kit assembled, it is truthfully very easy to do. It is when you start altering or modifying them that the kits become complex. If you do that for yourself and still feel like simple assembly and paint are out of your reach, then yes... Vern is a very good person to contact for getting a blaster built. Good luck!
