  1. I love my THG E-11! They are made by fellow 501st members and certainly work for centurion.
  2. Looking good, Mike! You may want to trim that neck seal bib in the front a bit, so it doesn't peek out the sides of the chest armor. It also looks like the white elastic (or is that canvas?) is being pulled out quite a bit from under the shoulder bridges. You could either shorten the straps so there is more tension between the chest and back, or somehow secure the straps underneath the shoulder brides with a snap or velcro. Almost there!!
  3. Looking good so far! Yeah.. scoring, snapping, and lexan scissors are the way to go for trimming most of the kit. I only used my dremel for fine-tuning the ears, drilling holes, and some clean-up here and there.
  4. The 'Getting Started’ section is where you... get started. Read the threads below first, then just keep reading thread after thread after thread. Feel free to ask questions (there are no stupid ones ). Good luck, and welcome! http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/30456-how-to-join-the-501st-legion-as-an-imperial-stormtrooper-tk/ http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/11538-the-various-types-of-armor-and-where-to-find-them/
  5. I'm pretty sure this is one of Scootch's Custom Fab Shop kits. Although, I could be wrong. If I'm right, this listing is part of the 1% of ebay armor that is actually a good purchase, from an honest seller and member of the 501st. 99% of stormtrooper armor on ebay is over-priced, recast crap and not 501st approvable.
  6. I put my E-11 in the Empire Strikes Back pillow-case I've had since I was a kid.
  7. Not very accurate. The black soles look way too thin, and the toes are too pointy. I'd stick to TKboots.com or Imperial Boots for the most accurate pair. You could also paint a pair of black boots white. Look for Bass Amsterdam boots on Amazon, then follow one of the painting tutorials here. Good luck!

  9. I have the same bracket set-up. It'll all fit in there no problem. Just put the helmet in the clamshell between the chest/back, and the put the calves inside the thighs. then put those into in the clamshell between the ab/cod and kidney. Then I put the forearms inside the biceps/shoulders and lay them on top. There's even room for the boots, belt/holster, and blaster.. with room to spare! I have the Huskey Mobile Job Box.. It's the same size as the Stanley.
  10. Just snagged this off facebook too.. Never seen this one either! The year 3000...??
  11. It's a Return of the Jedi suit. I went to this exhibit about a month ago. SO AMAZING!! You see the costumes all the time in photos and in the actual movies, but that does them NO justice! Especially the prequel costumes. I'll definitely be going back when it's less busy.
  12. Upload all your photos to an image hosting site like photobucket.com. 'Copy' the URL from each photo, then 'paste' it into the Image Properties window by clicking the 'Image' button in the reply options (the small polaroid looking icon).
  13. NICE!!! Looks like you're haulin' a$$ on this build already!
  14. Looks awesome, Chris!!! and SO SHINEY!! Centurion in NO time!
  15. Yes, yes, to Evan you listen. With all the amazing armourers in England, no trooper in the UK needs to buy from the states!
  16. I don't see that working too well. You'd probably have to cut off a bit more than just that raised area you have marked in red. The cover-strips might not lay correctly without the flat raised section, and might make gluing difficult. The right forearm is just gonna be a little bit bigger. It's just the way the mold was made. No biggie.
  17. Yes, you can re-size, crop, edit, adjust, you name it, in photobucket.
