Aaron, great job on the frown , i wouldnt even try heating up the back plastic , just position the rubber trim as the photo shows ( didnt know having this point was a hero requirement) also the ears are different on the hero lid and the fact they only used 2 screws on the hero ears rather than 3 which was used on the stunt. Great start to your build
