  1. Congratulations Sir
  2. Looking great Charles, good luck with approval
  3. That's great to hear, she definately won't get picked on there

  6. Looks great just one small thing your side rivets look a little large, I only say this as a trooper was asked to change his when he applied for centurion. Keep up the good work
  7. Going along nicely
  8. Think there is a little geek in all of us lol. Good luck with your build, you will enjoy the experience
  9. I'm going snaps but I have seen that in theads that they can loosen with time, not that much trouble to change. The brackets would be more screen accurate and really they shouldn't come off as they are held on by nuts and bolts to the armor. Think it's just up to you which you would like to use.
  10. Does look like some type of material, I suppose rubber direct on the skin would make you sweat alot, could have been and add-on as they where getting too sweaty
  11. Charcoal is on, ahhh the smell of paint drying lol

  13. I have only tried it without armor, still waiting for mine to arrive, in jeans it stays central lol
  14. Thanks, I just prefer the look you get with satin, just gives it that little bit extra. Both the hasbro and my pipe blaster sit pretty well in the holster, central and not rear heavy, the hasbro would be the heavier of the two, will have to get them weighed at some stage.
  15. Thanks fellow troopers Ok still bored and this waiting for armor is killing me lol, decided to make some stands for my blasters, made sure that I made them the same so it doesn't matter which blaster goes in which stand. May looking into some perspex stands down the track, with some name tags, TK numbers too I hope Woodwork done, next on to some painting, got a can of charcoal hamerfinish left so I may as well use that, be a nice contrast to the blasters. Now wheres that primer gone???

  17. Hate not being 501st approved, don't get to see anything from their forum
  18. I tried using some goo remover, worked quite well and didn't melt the abs, then went over with some T cut polish. Hope this helps
  19. Cool been looking for some of those. I am thinking of making a mannequin out of pvc pipe and bends, hope to get some pics up soon. Looking good so far, keep it up
  20. Congrats nice build, now get out there and troop
  21. Looking good Charles, Centurion here you come. Oh I used the soapy water trick too, like you said takes a bit more time to dry but makes it easy to move decal around to the right spot.
  22. Off to a good start, keep up the good work
