  2. This looks so cool, will not even have armor till next year, but I definately want this for my helmet
  3. Is the pipe 1.25 inches or 1.5?? also what length is accurate?
  4. I ordered my doopy doos kit today, will have to go to Lowes and get a pipe and hopefully I can start on it soon. My wife just laughs and says I love my geek
  5. was debating getting the doopy doo parts with their pipe build, looked at your Centurion blaster build in your tags and that is insane, looks sooo awesome
  6. Ok been reading here for a week or so, looking into getting armor(will be at least first part of next year for that), so I am looking at making a blaster for now. Debating if I should go for a Doopy Doos pipe build or for just the Doopy Doos complete kit, or is there a better option? I definately want it 501st acceptable, and would like to try for Centurion at some time so I want to do as good as possible. Pretty sure I want to do an ESB build, I do have basic tool skills, and a good set of tools at home, but have not done much work with metal. Looking for some feedback from the more experienced troopers.
  7. hmmm the waist may give me problems, I run a 46-48, how hard is it to shim?
  8. so glad to see this, just getting started here and looking at getting my first set of armor, nice to see there are more tall people that could fit the trooper armor
  9. so debating which armor type to go for, I am thinking ESB, I can remember waiting in line to see that one and it would be cool to do. Any advice on which style to go with? Also the E-11 for it looks a bit easier then the ANH one
  10. Thanks for all the great information, finding this site was a fantastic find, I just joined up and am seriously considering an armor purchase this year. I had come sooo close to getting armor from stormtrooper costumes, and I am so glad I found you all, and discovered that this was a bad idea, because I would eventually like to join the 501st, and am really learning a lot about the armor. Now I want to pick some of your brains. I am 6 ft 5 and about 300 pounds, from reading here it looks like RT-Mod may be the best to look at with my size, am I correct in this? Any tips or advice is greatly appreciated, making armor is something I have considered for 4-5 years now, and I am at that point that I really want to do it Thanks
