  1. Going to go the whole way on this one, you can see it clearly is a different holster, any rebel holster I have seen is nothing like this one, but thank you for your input You can make out in this promo shot that the holster is not as long as an E-11
  2. I thought at first this was just a promo weapon but while looking for the holster design I found this shot, looks screen used to me
  3. Top pipe cut, also spent some time on the lathe with the end caps. Still need to cut the slots and grooves into the pipe.
  4. Yes it is, found it in an arts and craft store, very lucky find as I wasn't sure what I was going to do about the grip, problem solved
  5. Most of the body parts are cut, just need a bit of sanding
  6. Nice work, looking very smart
  7. Looking good, the sides do sit differently so don't panic if you have more gap on one side than the other. I took a measurement from the back of the cheek trap to the bump on the side were the screw would go through and did the same with the other side. The sides will pull in more once screwed, also the ear covers any gaps still left
  8. A little more done
  9. A few cover strips and grips cut
  10. This may be of help here
  11. Ran out of armor to build so looks like it's back to building blasters Couldn't find much info about the SE-14R, I did find the length which I then used to scale up a few photo's of the blaster on the computer then I laid some paper over the screen and traced the outline of it. Here is where I am at
  12. I myself being Centurion agree that there could be a more screen accurate level. I intend to troop for years so really I can't see me changing my armor, reason being I have fellow squad members with the same screen accurate brackets and hook closures, the problem is the brackets are not long term viable, they crack around the bolts, I have just helped a fellow member replace all of his brackets with snaps and elastic. I still believe there is room for a higher level, but would it be a long term trooperable armor?
  13. Thanks guys, fingers crossed, you know the feeling when you can't sleep, wake up at odd hours and just have to check the computer for any updates, then try to get back to sleep . Being down under and on different time scale sucks
  14. From what I have seen most stick with the one rank bar on the last bump (back of ear) on each ear. I personally have done this on my buckets. There is a thread about ear rank bars here
  15. Very nice work, well done
  16. Don't suppose you would be interested in printing a couple of biker scout blasters, got a couple of squad members been looking for some. I have found a lot of blasters on this site here
  17. Correct, nice pick up, some don't see there's a difference
  18. Looking good
  19. Use the guide above, I painted my TD with primer then gave it a coat of gloss clear, reason is I had the paint here from blaster builds and I prefer to use spray paint so there is no brush marks

  21. Thank you Phil, happy to take the 2nd EIB
  22. Looking good, a trick mentioned with the tube stripes is if you paint white first then if you get any bleeding through the stencil only the white will show, paint the blue over the top of the white and all should be fine.
  23. Problem with most costumes is that you have to do the research, I thought an officer build would have been easy, but no there was still a lot of research. The search function is a great help, also checking on post's made to see if anyone has commented is advised
  24. All is looking good, coming along nicely
  25. Looks like a good start, can't wait to see more
