  1. Just a tip with heat, little at a time and to stop warping use small pieces of would to support and help mould, can even use a piece either side if you warp anything. I did quite a bit of testing before using heat on my armor
  2. Will do thanks for the tip (doesn't Leia have small wrists lol)
  3. Nice tip. Can't wait to see some approval photos. Good job there
  4. Looking good there To post your picture click on the image square on the toolbar above, then enter the web address where you picture are hosted online then click ok. Note if using photobucket you need to copy the direct link of you picture, hope that helps
  5. Nice work there Si, looks good on you, can't wait to see more pics
  6. Very nice I also was thinking of using the pvc, going to make some soon your picture is a great reference
  7. Heat gun or iron would be of help, just need a little heat and the abs is quite pliable.
  8. I have ATA but have not had any trooping in it as yet. It easy nice and sturdy, lines easy to trim and sand. You can get more screen accurate armor but for the quality and price you can't go wrong with ATA
  9. Two pieces glued to each side of the back plate, top and bottom (4 pieces total), when closed the front non glued pieces hold behind the front ab plate stopping the eastic wanting to push the sides out, does that make sense
  10. Very nice work on that sniper plate well done, shouldn't be too much longer until you are finished
  11. Nice idea but why do want to just stun your victim would prefer red led's, lets at least try to kill the rebel scum, even if we can't hit the side of a barn LOL . I use the soundboards from small cheap toy guns, normally around $6.00 and the board is only 1" x 1/2", the speakers are small enough to fit in e-11 pipes and they come with a vibration motor which give the realistic feel when you fire the gun. I did a similar thing to your idea in my DLT-19 build, managed to fix everything into the side cover box.
  12. My Dad had snuck me out of the house after my brother went to sleep as he was too young and he didn't want him to spoil my experience, to this day my brother doesn't know lol. Funny how my brother is not that much into Star Wars
  13. What you do is type the word you want to use as the link work ie: here, then click on the word and highlight it (click on with left button and drag across) then go up to the link tool in the toolbar, then enter the website address, press ok and you are done
  14. I remember seeing ANH in a drive in theatre when it first was released, now heading for 48 this year and I finally am a stormtrooper. Don't think it matters how old you are if you take pleasure in kitting up.
  15. Apart from the painting it's like watching my own build lol. Glad my threads are off help, it's nice to give back for all the work others have posted before. Hope you don't go to insane with the wait, just try and get all the things you will need for your build for when the armor arrives. Oh there are blasters to build too, I got a bit carried away lol. Keep up the good work
  16. Thanks I had a blast building it, I love the fact that most of it is available at any hardware store. Going to keep an eye on your build I have a hankering for something a bit larger lol
  17. Great to see you back, been waiting to see this finished, I have one on my to build list lol
  18. I did my arms 16mm and my legs 22 mm, pretty sure up to 25mm is fine. Depending on how the armor fits you can go bigger
  19. If soapy water doesn't work then try a spray of vinegar, a cheap household remedy for mold. I have tried the inner glove liners and I find them very comfortable. They were available at a local supermarket and quite cheap
  20. Was just like yesterday when I opened my box with glee, then panic set in lol. As said before take your time and before you even cut one peace research and if needed ask questions, that's what we are all here for. Good luck can't wait to see you underway
  21. ATA is a good choice, it was my first armor, found it easy to work with. Downside there is a long wait as it is quite popular but most of the time you can purchase your helmet first as they normally have them in stock.
  22. From what I have read he doesn't post very quickly and is hard to contact
