  1. Small update, since the Hot Toys photos emerged, a little bit more detail added, now for some more paint
  2. Never had an issue with Velcro myself The sticky back foam I find at a local hardware store, they use it for window/door seals. You could always use a soft foam and apply with E6000 too.
  3. Another maker JMS Props on FB
  4. I used Velcro on the knee plates just made it a little easier to adjust them. Single stage paint ok but definitely need the clear coat, I find it a lot stronger and easy to buff and compound scratches. I also added some foam in places on the armor that I knew would rub over time, the one side sticky foam worked well for this and has saved a lot of paint. Nice work
  5. I noticed that some time ago with one of the photos so I made them straight and overlapped and the different sizes
  6. Here's another in the prelimerary stage Armory Shop
  7. Well after the next couple of days of trooping looks like I'll be back in the workshop and doing a mod to the "Claw", Hot Toys just release some images and what I thought was a blaster magazine is more a rectangle with 3 slits on two sides, I gather it will still have lights. I didn't do too bad with the sound and lights though, pretty similar Still doing some updates, I'm after accuracy not speed Thanks Tony, means a lot coming from you Thanks Shane
  8. Nice work. I used suspenders too but attached with snaps for quick release
  9. They defiantly provide some nice details, been waiting on some close ups
  10. Hot Toys on FB, but also their website, some nice detail on the side of the "claw", looks like I have a mod to make to mine
  11. The little extra won't make too much of a difference, my ears tend to catch when putting on my Hero version, Stunt helmet not so much, if you can get in and out without seeing blood you should be fine
  12. Awesome news, keep everything crossed
  13. From what I have seen from Jim and KB's kits they are for the slightly bigger trooper, I would suggest Anovos to be your best bet for size. Like all armor for the heightwardly challenged there would be some modifications needed. Be quite easy to trim leg pieces, ab has some room to move, arms would allow a little trimming. Lots of images of the Anovos kits available to see exactly where you would need to modify. Good luck what ever you decide.
  14. Use an online photo host like Imgur, upload your photos there then copy the links into your post. Are you trying your helmet on sideways, they don't go on straight
  15. Looking forward to seeing the armor, I've heard of them but not seen anything from them as yet. The wait for the BBB is unbearable
