  6. I apologize for the long delay in getting back to this, been kinda weird around here between holiday and work schedule, but here are the photos of my AM sniper plate set up. In October I hit my 1 year anniversary and this set up gotten through around 40 troops in that time period. Hope this helps and again, sorry for taking so long to post the pics for you.
  7. Sure, i'll snap a pic for ya and posti it up, probably won't get to it until tomorrow though if that's ok. I know it's held on really good on the sides and just barely touches at the top with that gap you're talking about at the bottom. Had to add some foam and plastic in there to give the material something to bond to.
  8. Placement looks ok to me, but i'd let some of the centurions chime in. I glued mine all the way around with the E6000 I used for my entire AM build. It's taken quite a bit of trooping over the past year and I haven't had any problems with it coming loose at all. Hope this helps you out.
  9. Wow, job well done. Cool to see you making changes along the way, I need to do the same. Its looking great trooper.
  10. Sweet looking build, Good luck trooper
  11. Fire Team 500 checking in. We've been trooping Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination at Indiana State Museum all summer long.
  12. That should work fine for you. I did all my strapping with elastic that is only 3/4" to 1" wide that I bought at Jo-Ann's and Wal-Mart and i've done about 30 troops in it so far.
  13. Thanks for your assistance everyone, had another troop today so I haven't made any repairs yet, but I now have a week until my next outing so i'll give these a try one night this week.
  14. Been trooping my very first set of armor for about ten months now and it has served me very well for my twenty some troops. I'm starting to get some wear and tear all around, that's ok and I kind of expect that, but yesterday I noticed a small crack in my bucket under the left/center of the chin coming straight out from the S-trim. It's only about a half inch long, but i'd like to stop it in it's tracks. I've heard about some using the t-shirt method, they're happy with it and it works well, but i'm not sure exactly what this involves or how it's done. Anyone have any experience with this or a suggestion on a better way of fixing the crack?? Thanks p.s. It's a CAP bucket I bought that already built and used by another member
