  1. I was so shocked to hear about this yesterday. Jenny and Mark Ryner were the first troopers I met when I first looked into joining the legion. She was so supportive and helpful while I was building my tk and then snuck away from work for about an hour to suit up when I did my first troop. Such a great person, always had a smile and could make ya laugh at anytime. She will be greatly missed
  2. Congrats on your first troop, looks like you had a blast.
  3. It was a pleasure getting to be a part of this awesomeness. Largest group of TK's I've had the honor to troop with, it was a great day. Thanks to Ken and the Florida Garrison for getting the epic pic accomplished.
  4. This is a great thread you've got going. For myself, anything GUNS N' ROSES would do the trick for an intro. That band has been my soundtrack since I was 13yrs old. The only thing I have more of in this house besides the obvious SW items is Slash. Albums, posters, guitars, store displays, action figures, etc.... You name it, I've probably got it. I always thought "Ladies and Gentlemen" by Saliva would make a good intro as well.
  5. The actual parade march is only about ten minutes, but there is a lot of "hurry up and wait" time spent in the backstage area. Keep in mind that it is May into June in the middle of Florida, so it'll be warm no matter what. I've done the last two years and always do the first weekend, temps seem to be pretty tolerable.
  6. I plan on attending the first weekend again. Marched the last two years, its an awesome experience. I always tell troopers its something you have to experience at least once in your trooping career.
  7. You've got some good looking work done there trooper, and in such a short time span. Looking forward to watching your build.
  8. Sweet, have fun with it and remember, don't rush it. Research as much as you can and measure twice/cut once. Looking forward to watching your progress.
  9. Making some good progress there trooper. You don't see many ROTJ TK's around. Looking forward to seeing this armor together.
  10. Wow, you all had a busy weekend. Good work troops.
  11. Thanks for the suggestion. I switched to chrome like you suggested, pics posted with no problem, it worked great
  12. I've been trying to add photos to my Field Training thread, and the "Image Properties" block stays in the middle of the screen and I can't move forward. Using photobucket and internet explorer. Anyone have any ideas??
  13. Over the month of November and into December, we were invited to take part in multiple toy drives at various Scotty's Brewhouse locations across the state of Indiana. The toys collected at these drives were to benefit the children of Peyton Manning Children's Hospital in Indianapolis. Here's a few that I was able to attend. Getting a visit from a fan in the armed forces
