Sorry Walt, no updates yet. We were supposed to get together this past weekend some more tk building fun, but the sickness bug struck and had to cancel plans. Maybe this weekend being a holiday and all. -
Looking forward to watching your progress on this. I'm in the middle of assisting a future mini tk with his build. We'll be back at it this weekend it appears.

You can do it Jenny, we all have faith in ya. -
I'm a lefty, but while trooping the blaster can get pretty heavy, so I'm always switching sides to give the other side a break.

I still have all of my old ones. Not quite sure of the inventory right off, but the figures and smaller items are still in the r2d2 toy box I've always had and my two falcons, imperial shuttle and ewok village are in sperate boxes. Unfortunately, they're not all complete. I was a kid, I played with ALL. My cousin is 8 or 9 years older than I am, so I received all of his hand me downs. Also received a few figures when I was first learning to swim, I was bribed with a new figure for every time I would jump in the pool. Theres also a send away anakin that is quite special to me that I received after a mother/son bonding moment.

Thanks Walt. I'm going to guess he's about 42 to 43" tall. I base this on the rides he was able to get on at Disney World. I'll get his measurements from his mom today and repost -
Great read as always, good work everyone. Congrats Tim

Some quick history on this little guy before we get started. Here in Indy in the spring of 2013, the Indiana State Museum hosted the traveling "Where Science Meets Imagination" exhibit and they did a special midnight grand opening. William and his family were in attendance, they loved it. While they were in line for the Millenium Falcon experience, I was making my rounds greeting everyone in line and came across the family with their little Vader. I started chatting with him and when their turn came up, I escorted Lord Vader to his seat in the falcon. Little did I know the impact that this experience would have on this (at the time) 3 year old. Fast forward three months and we're doing star wars night with the Indianapolis Indians minor league baseball team, doing our meet and greets, my wife(also my handler) hears "mom, that's my stormtrooper". William picked me out of all the other troopers that were there. Turns out, since the museum exhibit, I've been known as "his stormtrooper". He and his family have followed us around to countless troops and we've all become great friends. For those of you that were at star wars weekends this year, they came down from Indiana with us, he was Darth Goofy that was hanging out with all of us before and after. Soon after we got back, his mom got in contact with Walt and ordered William his very own set of TK armor. And today, with help of Clamps' excellent build thread, we started his build with a mini armor party. The must have brown box pic All the armor spread out, with William ready to build Ok, mom actually made the first cut Learning how to smooth it out Now that's some plastic Excited much??? It was kind of funny how small working with this stuff was, just to find out that we had to go even smaller. I think we've got the legs figured out (my wife is actually awesome at this part), but the body pieces may pose a challenge Dad is doing great work with the bucket as well That concluded the build for the day, I think we did pretty well for only being on it about four hours. It was great seeing the whole family putting in the time and effort to be a part of this build. Gave them all homework so we can keep up on the progress.
