  1. All you need to do to fix the bicep is trim it to your size, its an oval because it has more plastic than the other bicep. cut the plastic down to size and it will be circle shaped. just like your other bicep. You just have to remove a little extra then normal.
  2. Most fiberglass helmets are recasts from other makers, yours looks pretty close to an original so I'm pretty sure it was recast from an AP, ATA, CAP, TE any one of these. Usually these helmets are made from ABS plastic or HIPS.
  3. The only problem with getting the 501st for stormtroopers is that we all have different armors from different makers, so the color will be off, the armor will look different unless they only hire people with armor from a certain maker. The next thing all the people playing all have to be around the same height, and weight as the movie feels is neccesary fro a Stormtrooper which will be 5'10 - 6' and weighing aorund 160-200 pounds. The next thing is this movie is after ROTJ, So they would most likely only want ROTJ troopers, and we don't have very many of those, there wouldn't be mixing in with other movie variations. Another problem is this movie takes place 30 years after ROTJ so I'm pretty sure they won't look like they did 30 years ago at all theres gonna be some big changes in the look. But that all does not matter, as Kevin Smith has confirmed that real stormtroopers are already on set so there won't be CGI troopers! We will see real stormtroopers in the movie just not the exact same way they were.
  4. Lots of armor are close matches to ATA and quicker to get to your door. Such as MTK, CAP-W, RS, TM, and AP. I highly recommend replacing the EFX for a screen accurate helmet like ATA.
  5. Your forearms look great but you need to re size your biceps as they look way too big on you. Welll at least your right bicep. Just trim more than where it told you to trim. Trim past the mold lines to close thatup I had to do so on my AP but the fit is near perfect!
  6. Requesting 501st status! TK 31501 reporting in ANH stunt approved!! http://www.501st.com/members/displaymember.php?userID=17288&costumeID=124
  7. Yeah i'm 5'7" and i get the short troopers comments but its not often that happens because my armor does not look too long or big for me!
  8. You should glue the back of your thighs shut as they just slip on and it looks less costume like and more real
  9. Why not wait to post a thread until you have pictures?
  10. Sounds like ATA or MTK or even CAPW is a better fit for you. Plus these armors are way better looking in terms of accuracy, shape, and overall appearance.
  11. The MTK is another one that was cast from the CAP, which was from TE and TE2. The TE was cast from a ROTJ suit and modified to look ANH, with an original ANH helmet cast. The only cast from original ANH armor Is RS PropMasters.
  12. Pretty much any accurate armor you want, they all have differences! If your kit comes with the FX helmet then get another helmet. But if it comes with the newer accurate helmet I wouldn't see a problem besides putting it together.
  13. Welcome! I am only 5'6" 140 pounds and I fit into the AP armor perfectly, without having to trim anything extra at all. There's some members on here that also fit into AP armor as tall as you! but you being in sweden, It would be easier to get RS or TM armor.
  14. You should try out a more accurate armor unless you really need the extra room.
  15. So far every armor you've asked if they're good on ebay has been an FX recast. See a pattern? If its from an 'new seller' its gonna most likely be an FX recast.
  16. I heard CFO sent one of their completed suits to JJs team for 'inspiration'.
  17. You shouldn't of gotten AM armor, the Shoulders, chest, back, and helmet are waaaay too large and off from the original suits. I can think of 2 other armor makers than have screen lineage armor that are usually ready to go, CAP-W and MTK. They always put armor up on ebay. If you have inaccurate armor as a base you'll only make yours less accurate.
  18. The belt is ABS plastic like the originals, the soft part is canvas also true to the originals
  19. This will be glorious day if stormtroopers are actually still in starwars. Especialy if they're REAL and not cgi...
  20. Looks alright to me, troopers in the movie had low, mid and high brows.
  21. I just added elastic bands to the shoulder straps: AND I made some modifications to my Hyperfirm blaster: I added lenses to the scope and drilled a hole in the barrel for more realism: The newly drilled hole:
  22. Locitus said 5 teeth is acceptable because there are troopers in ANH with 5 cut out. In fact there is one helmet I know of that has 6 teeth cut out. Heres the 6 tooth trooper! Its only on one side though.
  23. Also you need to paint the scope rail black if i'm not mistaken. And your biceps look a little large on your arms. You might want to consider trimming those down for a better fit.
  24. Here are the finished thighs! Just need to paint the rivets white.
  25. So does this mean a new helmet source??
