  1. Ok I reglued the right thighs cover strip 20 mm tell me what you guys think? Gonna reglue the other one now and install the thigh knee pack tomorrow.
  2. The efx is a huge downgrade tp the RS lid. It looks even less like the hero helmet then the RS stunt does. The TM hero is what you're looking for!
  3. This marks the very first fan made armor!!
  4. Thanks for the input guys, The thighs will be reglued in time, I need a new drill for the side rivets and male snap because mine decided to stop working... I can't walk normal on it yet so the bottom back part of the thighs do need a little trimming. As for the drop boxes I got them trimmed that way from AP so I assumed they would be fine. Are all ANH boxes that thin?
  5. first test fitiing without the ammo pack, still waiting on rivets. They fit great but I need to cut the back of the thighs but I expected that. What do you guys think?
  6. Thank you for that, I just barely realized when the5thhorseman pointed out my cover strip size. I was using that tape measure because I couldn't find my ruler, thankfully I only used the measurments on my thighs. The arms are all correctly measured in mm. I'll measure the arm strips to make sure though.
  7. Thanks, I'll keep them unless it really bothers me, but I think i'll be fine. I just gotta make sure not to screw up the thigh ammo pack!
  8. Oops How could I not notice that!?
  9. They are roughly 20 mm They look large possibly cause i have thin legs but for ANH most coverstrips are all approximations on the original suits some were around 22 mm Are mine close enough?
  10. Got the new thighs and Rubber handguards in: Trimmed and ready for sizing, Sized up and glued front cover strips:
  11. Yes, and I have slowly begun making the mods. There is alot of small details I need to make before applying. I need a new Thermal Detonator that I want from TM. And I love your Hero TM!!! Haha yes I noticed that its the 31" Vader I got as a gift Thanks for the comments
  12. Thanks! I just ordered some more accurate thighs and rubber handguards from trooperbay.
  13. New guy taken over CTM or not its still the same recast ATA parts. So it will look accurate because its the same from all TE lineage moulds. Good luck!
  14. Awesome, two Hero's at once! Good luck with the build remember measure twice cut once!
  15. Use slightly larger cover strips on the back of the thigh to cover up the gap. It won't even be noticed! Also The AP bottm flares out instead of inward. you can fix this with heat or when you strap the butt to the cod it'll pull the bottom part in towards you making a better curve.
  16. No, I never said to go with CTM. There's a whole thread about them on here. We know they bought an ATA suit and cast off them then claimed they were given moulds. MTK doesn't have any sale threads just message MTK for armor kits. Theres no reason to go with CTM. ATA, AP, and MTK are all way better choices.
  17. How tall are you? and it looks great!!
  18. Yes everyone it is okay to trim that red marked area on your thighs, and you can to your shins too. it won't effect you on EIB or Centurion, as long as you don't cut too much. The originals all had that notch cut out for better movement so its screen accurate!
  19. All TE derived armors have one thigh bigger than the other, your thighs are perfectly fine the reason being is the armor it was cast off of had the left thighs notch trimmed off so making it a little under an inch shorter.
  20. I own an MTK helmet. Great helmet and armor too! But I also own CTM armor shin pieces. It's really think ABS and a little hard to trim than other armor. It's just a recast of ATA though but they work fine only reason I got them from CTM is because AP didn't have any available and it's a close color match CTM had em in stock.
  21. RS only has outer shins. it never came with the inner shin piece which is why RS shins looks kinda round and fat.
  22. It's been months and he hasn't posted a picture of the original helmet. There's most likely no original helmet and simply a recast. If he had one he'd already post it.
  23. The SDS Faceplate came one of the weird prototype helmets AA made after production when he used the weird ribbed cap n back. He never had an original cap n back in possession so he resculpted the prototype which is why the first SDS helmets had no bell shaped swoop botton on the cap n back. He later fixed this but it proves he had one original faceplate, which looks almost hero like. But no Cap n back -----------
  24. I've seen AP fit a person who is 5'4 with little to no trimming, If you want RS it will need trimming off of many parts for someone of her build. SDS will not build it to her size you'll get a very loose fitting armor from SDS and you'll have to basically rebuild the whole armor so that's not worth it at all.
  25. These pics are awesome, but do you have any of the chest and cod and ab plates? I'd like to see if those are closely sized too.
