Thanks Jimmy, I am hoping I have all my ducks in a row for EiB. I took photos last night. I am evaluating them to see if I have everything in order. Once I have this all in order, its time to start researching something new And yes ESB troopers did pretty well..but TK's didn't see too much action hanging around the Death Star and Bespin, that's why they are sooo shiny! My armour is already too marked up to be a real ESB

So, I believe I am complete with my ESB mods. I will be submitting to my GML hopefully today or tomorrow to get my ESB version of the kit approved. Once I do that I will have a go at EiB. Here is a sneak preview:

My forearms were my first limb portions worked on and I totally made them too tight, so I later pulled them apart and inner shimmed a bit, when cover strip added, you could not tell there was a gap underneath. I am sure you could do the same if you run into things being too tight.

Josh, overall the kit is looking nice. Well proportioned to your body. Not sure if this will be an issue with the approval for EiB or later for Centurion, but the visible snap back on the kidney plate on the right side seems unusual, I have not seen this done before. Usually folks use a snap plate inside the kidney to attach the strapping. As for future Centurion consideration (and I know you mentioned you have work do to before getting there), I have not seen it mentioned yet, but you may have to re-do all your overlap joins to be butt-joined with cover strip assembly for approval based on the newly approved Centurion requirements. Hey Matt, as Vern mentioned, using the butt-joining/coverstrip method for sure TOP Down. When you are done, you can always do a little trimming to make the bottom look clean and consistent. That is what I did and showed to you on our FB site. I then used a boatload of E6000 to hold it in place (I did not require heat for mine and it feels rock solid), the front will look a tad wonky, but the sides will look good as we showed ya.

oh, my bad I was missing the point entirely then. I mis-interpreted the CRL seam to refer to where the shim lines up with the Ab, not where it is connected to the kidney. Now that you raise this point, it seems very obvious. I look forward to hearing how this progresses. If there are good ways to accomplish a single seam, I would love to improve the look of my kit.
