hi......i think i can help you...usplactis..about 150 shipped to your door will get you some to start with.....is your mech done....what kind of vacumme pump did you go with....and chambers or tanks....molds if you done have any plan about 7 months at around 30 to 40 hrs a week,,,but when your done.....

i like plaster... its cheap and real easy to work with.. but i have been working with hard styrofome and cutting it to size the covering it with bondo and sanding to a finish...rember this molds you want to have holes in the molds to get sharper pulls

that front guy is missing ab buttons and that rear guy is missing the ab plate,,,and cant be a sandy cuz he has drop boxes.....

I did not see the most important thing to say yet so i will.....rember this,,,,,boot camp is not the real military,,,what ever service you enter it is a good decision....not enough of our young people do this

If 500 is you stopping point.....do not go with making or moddein you cheep armor...you will spend a lot more.....I think someone said that allready...save more and buy a kit from a vender here.....you will be happer and not spend a ton of money........lision to the people that have the know how...theses guys here will not steer you wrong

Yes...but the cost of that much smoth cast us just about the same price as an RSprops shipped to the states....and the you need a good vacutable that cost is around 5k unless you make a good one at about 1k and then you will have to drill the smoth cast to do a proper pull...now I am one for making your own...I have been working on kids armor now for a good 6 months and I am just about half done and I can't tell you the cost cus my wife would kill me.....if this if your first build...just buy a kit..as there is a lot of little things you won't see or feel till you have something to look at And a shout out to boba....thanks for that rotj armor it was great.......and there you go that was my first armor I ever bought...from a guy on here

we also are forgetting one thing.....bondo is heavy and will crack in time......if you have a lot of time....make molds and a vacuformer make your own

first...nice build your doing a great job...the sniper plate....two things you can do..1 pad the rear of your upper leg..this will pull the front in..and or adjust your sniper plate on an outword angle 2 my am armor does the same thing what i did is trimmed the chest so it comes closer to your neck and shim the helmit so it sits more forward on your head..if you look at minutemans pics the trooper clostest to you wont be able to look down..if he moved his lib forward he will be able to ,,,also lift it slightly...that will give you moving room
