The cloth has nothing to do with the "hardness" it is only for stranth..you should use it at first so you have a good working base,layers of it get heavy but strong...the resin should have come with a hardner......looking good thow

Are you planning to vacform a few?? If so what are you going to makethe mold out of?...not clay right?! I would start with plaster the pull one or two and fill with wall spackle....check out my..kids armor topic you will see

So...good luc with the scolpting.....just to worn you...I have a few sets of armor I bought and made.and not I am making molds for my kids...I probly have 5 to 6 hundred in stuff .... and I use my othe kits for mold ideas, so as I am mold making I am also seeing it as a peice to put toghter later....are you going with the butt mount way or the slip over way.......this is a big,big,big project and we'll worth it.....good luck. ....if you need anything,,,post your questions here ......a.LOT on knolage is here

i like my MTK...my am kit came with an FX...if you have a bigger head just use the FX,,,,it is still 501st approved and rember the only reason people dont like them is it makes us look like we have booble heads ..but if you already have a big head it might fit.......

i did mine with snaps and a strip of velcro

Thanks eric.....ya ya know it was an easy kit t take apart and reass. I got it fully assm here and had to mod like crazy and it was as if it just did it all buy it self

if this is your first....E6000...you can glue and take apart many times.. i just finished my AM kit and it went smothly..a nice easy kit to build,,,,,,i assume yours came with the FX lid... your going to want to upgrade soon...i like the fx but it is huge...the 501st is fading away from this lid... vecro lots of vecro...do you know ir you are going stunt or hero?...i dont know how people go hero with the buble lenzs...it hurt my eyes...i did see a good build thread for an AM kix..i think there is only one out there...any questions ask away as it is still fresh in my head...good luck and welcome
