  1. The last contact I had with Casey was on October 14th. The days before I also tried to contact him without success, but then I sent him a message about his eBay account and that worked. Just search for E-11 blaster on eBay and you will find him offering his E-11 complete kit.
  2. The "collectors Edition" is the Name that has been given to the Master Replicas/efx budget TK helmet by the SW community. Another much more expensive helmet, the Limited Edition, does exist, but it is only a hero I believe. What do you want to do with your MRCE?
  3. From my experience I can tell you that the ABS paste method does work pretty nice. Take the scrap ABS parts, solve them in aceton, fill the hole, let the aceton evaporate and the ABS dry. Then sand the area smooth and in the end you can use Novus Plastic Polish 1-3 to polish the area shiny again. There will remain a little color difference, but from a distance it won´t be visvible. Concerning the EIB approval I´m not qualified to answer that question. Maybe Mathias will answer that question.
  4. You would need a costume, that is approved by the 501st, right? So you would need something, that has an "original", e.g. in the film or in the EU. Could become a little tricky to get some costume with a visor approved that you have seen in KOTOR. Maybe you would be satisfied with an officer? Or a version of Starkiller from "The Force Unleashed", which is known to a wider public than some cyborg from KOTOR?
  5. AP is also quite small.
  6. Just post your pics e.g. on photobucket.com.
  7. I had the same feelings during my build, I also started in May and am still at it. Keep your head up, it will work. So far your forearms look good. I don´t know if you want to go for EIB or Centurion, but you could consider getting yourself some screen accurate rubber chemical gloves and painted latex hand guards. Mine are pretty nice, thanks to the Queen of Handguards -------------- Have fun!
  8. Try to upload your photos to photobucket.com. That´s the easiest way. *too late *
  9. I can only agree, you need to spend time and money to do this hobby professional. Mabe this suit is right for you:----------- It´s the rubies suit. Not accurate, not liked in the legion and it would be hard if not impossible to get legion approval with this thing, but for halloween it might be okay. But remember. Pay twice the price of this rubie thing and you get an excellent accurate armor plus most accessoires. Your choice. Good luck

    Sweet

Just wanted to share this german ebay auction with you: http://www.ebay.de/itm/Star-Wars-Stormtrooper-ARMOR-BEREITS-ZUSAMMENGEBAUT-MIT-BLASTER-KOSTUM-RUSTUNG-/200828401151?pt=DE_Erwachsene_Kost%C3%BCme&hash=item2ec24e35ff I love the biceps And the thighs are also ... pretty alternative
  11. Just an idea: go to the Death Trooper section ;-) There you´ll find some build threads http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?showforum=102
  12. AM does not make replacement parts, thats the crux with them. Maybe start a WTB-thread. It all depends on how the colors match.
  13. The doopydoos kit is a wondeful thing to start with, concerning stormtrooper stuff
  14. Also I would suggest to rotate the biceps with the fingerprint so that it points to your armpit. Maybe try to shorten the shoulder-bell-straps so that they come closer to your shoulder. Did you use the detonator that came with the kit and have you used the silver stripes? These stripes are pretty non-accurate and maybe you remove them and paint the tube gray or look out for some TD-kits from Jesse ;-) Thats how it should look: And I would think about trimming the wings of your chest a little bit, because they are pretty long. Reference: Nice build so far
  15. I´m just curious : Why have you bought a stormtrooper kit with a snowtrooper chest, if you want to do a stormtrooper? Was it that cheap?
  16. What is the question? Concerning what armor?
  17. My advice: Get yourself an armor of a reputable armor maker. You´re from UK and want to get a ANH style armor? I know two pretty awesome armor makers in UK ... *cough* TM and RS Props *cough* Look here: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=11538
  18. I thought the same about the scope rail. But with a proper workbench and this tutorial:http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=4697&pid=195195&st=0& it´s pretty easy. Believe me, that is the cheaper version.
  19. The belt has been trimmed the wrong way. It is too short. Good luck with the kit. I like your attitude of gaining experience building this cheap recast and then moving to a more accurate and expensive armor.
  20. The armor looks good, funny how the armor for the biggest trooper has been downsized. But I love your wall
  21. This gonna be an easy one. Great TK Heading to Centurion,eh? Move along, move along
  22. Forget it, for 300 bucks you only get crap. It depends on what you want: Do you want to join the 501st or do you just want a halloween costume? If you are really interested in becoming a 501st member, start here: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=11538 A realistic calculation for a legion approved TK doesn´t start under 800 bucks. Remember: You need more than the armor: Undersuit, neckseal, belt, boots, holster, blaster. These items alone are 300 bucks
  23. Why would somebody recast such a miserable helmet?
  24. Where´s the left drop box ?
