  1. Ok. You need ABS plastic for your own armor. I never did research on this topic, but maybe there are companys around you, who produce advertisement signs out of white plastic. These people often use ABS. Maybe you can ask those companys for sources. Or search on google for plastic suppliers for the industry. Where do you want to get your molds?
  2. What about the maker of your armor? Did he provide you with excess ABS? Can you order new ABS sheets from him?
  3. Looking good so far, even though you have not the perfect Trooper proportions. Did you shim the sides? More photos from all 4 directions would be nice. I would try to find a way to keep the shoulder bells in place, as a first step shorten the strap between shoulder bells and the chest-back connection. Do your weapon laws force you to wear this red pin on the E-11´s muzzle? Besides I would recommend to change this hasbro blaster for a more accurate blaster like the doopydoos, the DVH-kit or an hyperfirm blaster. Yours looks like a children´s toy ( what it actually is).
  4. Wow, you already tried google..... I wouldn´t have thought about that Just kiddin. For what purpose do you need the ABS? Just for coverstrips or shimming?
  5. Looking forward to see pics and hear from your experience!
  6. Good start..... but the tactical padding is imho not necessary. Take the classic yellow foam padding and use a chin strap and the helmet will fit you perfectly
  7. Always awesome to see a well assembled RS suit! But your action shot hasn't much action, eh? Just kiddin ;-)
  8. Glückwunsch :-) Welcome to the ranks!
  9. Please show us your boots ;-)
  10. In my opinion the brow is to high, but it is your decision. Adjust the brow to your aesthetic wishes, but keep the original helmets in mind What Trooper do you want to build? ANH Stunt, Sandtrooper or ESB? The famous "Move along" Helmet had a higher brow:
  11. The left biceps has the finger print.
  12. Sanded the area: And filled with E 6000: Now wait.....
  13. Thats bitter..... Like Derrek said it would be best to start another thread in the for sale section with a similar description and pictures like the original. Good luck with the sale!
  14. Thank you Vern! I'll try that asap ;-)
  15. Hello fellow troopers! A corellian spices and arms smuggler provided me with a hyperfirm E-11. It looks great and I love weight and the possibility to give it to kids, but it is a B-grade. Look here: Has anyone suggestions on how to remove the "B" and the other scratches? I thought about using some kind of latex glue to maintain the flexibility, but maybe somebody has a better idea. Thank you guys!
  16. Thanks guys, great to hear this feedback ATA simply has an awesome price performance ratio @Nick: Those stencils I got from a fellow squad member, really pleased with the look and handling.
  17. Hey folks! When I started my AM build I was afraid of building and painting a proper helmet on my own, so I decided to get a fully assembled one from TM. I love the lid but when my suit was finished something was missing..... I needed something to do. So I ordered an ATA helmet kit. It was a wonderful experience to see everything coming together so fast and I need to confess, that I like the result. Enjoy! Finished: Comparison shots ATA vs TM ( TM on the right side)
  18. I really don´t want to start another FX discussion..... but man..... Those thighs look horrible in the back. You already changed the chest and back plate, why not change the thighs too? FX for EIB, okay, but for Centurion... sorry, but I simply don´t see a mixed suit with FX parts on the same level as a full suit of e.g. T/MC, AP, TM or RS. My 2 cents.
  20. I got an ATA and a TM and my head is also kind of big. The TM fits me better and I got the subjetive impression that it is slightly bigger.
  21. I would recommend "Novus Plastic Polish No. 1" to get the helmet glossy.
  22. Nice lid Alex! Love Paul´s hero
  23. Sehr gut Karin
