  1. Sorry for that upside down mistake.... never handled those idealized decals. But please show me an ANH screengrab with tubestripes that low and I´ll get you a beer at CEII if you are there.
  2. Very well done! Yes, your black lines look a bit thick, but nothing to worry about too much. Good luck on the rest of your build!
  3. Tony, following your build thread was a real pleasure! And your armor looks awesome
  4. Thank you Bill! Yeah, cause you get new decals, I would suggest to remove your tubestripes and position them new. Also yours are upside down. The first time somebody told me that, I couldn´t belive it, but yes - the tubestripes got a specific inner and outer side. Have a look here: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/22497-howto-align-tube-stipes-on-your-helmet/ Overall this helmet is a big step foward, looking at the old AM. But the dome seems much too round for me (If that makes sense to you) and the 3-piece construction with this nasty gap is simply unnecessary. I got no clue why they kept this 3-piece build... otherwise would be an absoloutely awesome helmet.
  5. Looking nice Bill! I would recommend to shorten the strap of the drop boxes, cause they need to sit right beyond the belt, with almost no space in between. And while I see your helmet: Would you mind posting some pictures from different angles of the helmet, like the typical, front, sides, back shots? Would be awesome to see an (almost) finished NE helmet in all his details ( You would be the first one to do this and I heard that Eric would be pretty happy about it )
  6. In fact I was never in need of a black interior. Use mesh behind the teeth and your face wont be visible for other people.
  7. That´s the ultimate trooper-box! Respect
  8. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/11538-the-various-types-of-armor-and-where-to-find-them/ CFO is the way to go for RotJ, no matter what size.
  9. I also have an eye on TM´s sweet 1,5 mm armor..... Good progress, keep it up
  10. Okay, but please don't hijack other peoples thread. Have a look at the "getting started" section. Lots of information about the different makers available. Also you can look at current WIPs, cause there are a few people buiding their NE at the moment.
  11. Bug eyed monster Hahahaha Made my day
  12. Nice one But unrealistic, that this tiny Enterprise could withstand the firepower of an imperial star destroyer...
  13. Sure this is salvageable Everything is fine What I would do is: Read Glen´s advice and thread carefully. Then take your heat sealing iron, and try it out at a piece of scrap plastic. When you start to feel familiar with it, then you can move on to your teeth and push the 4th tooth on both sides flat. Then sanding/polishing if necessary. Et voilá - an awesome hero faceplate. You can keep the paint on and when you finish the flattening, then maybe redo it, according to your taste. Good luck with your project
  14. Man ?! This thread is 3 years old. There is no hardware except the helmet kit with s-trim, nuts and screws and dark greens lens material. And you could simply ask that ATA yourself
  15. I would definitely fill in the 4th teeth or use a heat sealing iron to make it flat. Doesn´t look that good in my opinion. You say you are afraid to srew it up, but atm this looks screwed up to me no offence meant. As I can see you already found Glen´s thread, so I suggest to take it as a tutorial for your conversion. Or fill in the hole like Glen also suggested. I don´t see your problem, that to few people responded to your thread. Glen said in fact everything necessary. Good luck with your conversion!
  16. You really think that polyester is better? I don´t think so. Cotton all the way.
  17. Is the elastic at the shoulder bells to keep them to your biceps present? The armor is looking good, what maker is it? T/MC?ATA?
  18. Good solution for the inner drop boxes!
  19. Definitely E-6000. I would not recommend hot glue for armor building.
  20. Great piece of art! What maker is it? No TM, am I right?
  21. I think that moving the snaps more towards the inner leg would only cause your thigh armor to rotate outwards. And that would propably look weird In the end a TK isn´t a TB
