Solo Troops are great but only if you are not really alone. My wife has done the “handler†part in this ride. I’ve done this myself only in a couple of times and yes it has being fantastic (in my point of view). For some members having a good handler watching your back is an absolute must but in my case yes, I did though about that and that was my only concern, not having anyone to watch my back and I was aware that if necessary, my wife wouldn’t do much. That’s why, from a number of possibilities, you would definitely have to select the right place and time for it. (I would avoid wal-mart’s or any mall) I just love group troops, but my “solo troops†has been an absolutely one of a kind experience for me… http://www.whitearmo...l=&fromsearch=1 Cheers!!!

Hi all, I just would not recommend to anyone to try and do this in the real world, meaning even if you thing you are an expert driver, or if you thing you’ve done all the proper adjustments to your armor and you really feel you can do it, you will definitely not be able to operate your car with your full reflexes at all. As unexpected as they are, you will never be prepare for any emergency, your armor will not let you. You will put in a risk not only you, but to many other people walking or driving on the streets, it happened to a trooper friend down here. He ended up with a knee surgery after his accident. Saludos.

For me and just for me; Stunt is the best, it has his own and real soul within, is more imposing, it has more presence, it has more personality, it has a more intense look than the hero does. Like you mentioned; stunt helmet is "the" Stormtrooper helmet. Again, this is only my opinion.

Because of my height (1.87 meters.) that was a MAJOR concern for me when I started to look for an armor back in 2007, I’ve asked and questioned a lot of helpful member of this forum to figure out my best choices. I wanted to make sure I purchase an armor that was in the long range and not the short range; TM did the job well.

Please Gary if you have more pix of your close encounters with them, it would be awesome…

You are totally CORRECTO Tom; excellent reference pictures, sure clarifies y the ST height. Mark, Paul, Robert, Terry, Steve, James, John, to all thanks for the great info. If anybody has more reference pictures please… they are more then welcome.

I’ve heard also a not to long ago that the space troopers, the guys who appear only one time in ANH, where the falcon is entering the DS, those guys were 6â€3 to 6â€5, here is a picture of them when Lukas looks at one of them like if he was looking at Chewbacca and not to a Stormtrooper. I wondering all this because I am 1.87 meters height and that’s around 6â€2, I am taller than the average here in Mexico though, but on my very first troop I’ve got the “Aren’t you a little tall to be Stormtrooper…†comment. It does not bother me at all, I am very use to, to be surrounded by shorties all the time… Like Steve / riveting says; it would it been nice if someone may have the picture where it show's three modern TK's together with three of the original 1976 Stormtroopers for size comparison.

Hello all, I have searched here at the forum and I must have not been searching right or something because I am sure this question has been asked before, I just cannot find where. How tall were the 1977 TK’s that appear at ANH? Thanks for any ideas.
