  1. Wow that was one fast build! Looks great!
  2. Thanks! I shoulder slipped because the shoulder snap, well snapped, so I just taped it in. I'm going to try a few different ways and see about lowering the back a bit
  3. Yup, but I would go up a touch more
  4. I think the back plate is sitting high because my right shoulder cap snap broke, so it is sitting wonky. I am going to lower the back half inch at the shoulders to a lower button. That should work.
  5. So I was finally able to take some costume pictures. My wife took the camera today so these were taken on my cell using a self timer. I think I will take my EIB pictures outside so I can get better lighting and detailing. Will these at least work for my 501rst application, so I can that going? I have two things to do still: I noticed in the pictures that I need to take in the ab section on the left side as it is a little big. Put in the proper bottom curve to the chest. I had the snap of the right shoulder guard break on me, so it is not as in tight as it should be, which is also why the rear picture the back is not sitting straight. Anyone see anything else?
  6. Nice progress
  7. Awsome progress! You are moving fast, but still great quality! Fantastic job!
  8. So here we are, the Hero helmet is finally done!
  9. Agreed, I lighty run a blade down the edge then it peals off easily
  10. This makes me sick! Then I see how much they are asking!
  11. Ears are such a challenge
  12. You could use hooks instead of velcro. It is the more authentic strapping system.
  13. Agreed. It would be nice to add some variety to the ROTJ. Get some different looks.
  14. Dremel is the best way to go, agreed.
  15. I have been costuming for years, but never worked with plastic before. The key is to really do your homework. Look at as many build threads as you can, as those will show someones entire build from start to finish. Look at lots of these and it will really build your confidence as the more you look around, the more you realize it isn't that hard. Most people start with the biceps then fore arms, waiting to do the bigger pieces as there confidence grows. What I did was do a search peice by piece. So I would look at doing the thigh, I would search out thigh and read as much as possible. But yes, I agree with the other, pictures are huge in us helping you
  16. Looking great! Awsome build!

  18. Same here, I just used a exacto knife and sandpaper
