  1. Here, take a look at my EIB thread, I just built an ATA helmet. Hope it helps a bit. http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=18228
  2. Thanks a lot!!
  3. Have you looked at the tutorial threads in the reception center? There are some good methods for straping.
  4. I would like to be approved to be able to vote as well. Thanks.
  5. I have had good luck with the 2 part epoxy for my Doopy Doos projects. Loctite is good, Devcon makes a good one too. You shoud use a bit of cleaner to clean off the E 6000, I have had luck with one called Opps, multi purpose remover. Aceytone used lightly could work too, try a inconsicuous area first. Good luck.
  6. Thanks so much!! As soon as I get my new ATA armor, that is what it will be built for. Thanks again!!
  7. Mason asked me to fix a few points for EIB. The first pics are the repairs and the latter are just better lighted pics. Also note, my TK Boots arrived!! The corrected Ab buttons: The face plate of the Thermal Detonator...I put it together upside down when I installed my 1" straps...lol My biceps were too large so I made them smaller, I also used a tighter set of forearms too. Mason thought my blaster mag would look better black...it does. My shins were backwards, so I swithced the sniper plate and reversed the overlap then added new cover strips on the back. ABS sheets are hard to get on a Saturday here, so I used a white wastebasket for the strips in a pinch. Now some improved lighting pics. Thanks for your consideration.
  8. I got my 501st approval with the same boots. They do run large, I actually put 2 insoles in them. However, some of the more experienced Troopers don't like the look of the for futher advancement in the FISD, say the elastic is too wide and the toe is too square. On that, I ordered a pair from TK Boots. I will use both sets but the TK's will be used for my Centurion bid as soon as I build new armor.
  9. Hmmm, I'd really look into what someone is calling a "Snap Kit." This is the right place to get your answers though. Get other opinions before you do something, could save you a lot of heartache.
  10. You are a woman of many great faces, another wonderful costume!!
  11. I like the quality of both, other's aren't as crazy about the shape of the toes, I haven't heard a definite answer of the boots, I was approved in the 501st with them, but I am getting a pair from TK Boots for my Centurion build. Thanks for the compliment.
  12. The dots are blue, must be too dark, thanks for the catch.
  13. Just ask if you get stumped. Just remember, measure 2, 3, maybe 4 times before you cut!!!
