  1. Personally, I think the Trooperbay ABS works great for a shim, but are a bit too thick for snap plates. I used both methods.
  2. Signs work great. Make sure they are a thicker type, parking signs usually work best. Just sand the color off then use a nice 2 part epoxy.
  3. I know, gaps get to me too. But remember, gaps are screen accurate. It's going to look great!
  4. Looks like a great build!! Good Luck Trooper!!
  5. Amorwise, the HWT is the same as the TK, minus the ammo boxes and thremal detonator. The armor needs to be battle dirty as well, smudged up good but not as dirty as the Sandtroopers. The pack can be like the sandtroopers or a copy of the game used one.
  6. Awwww...brings back memories. Nice start.
  7. Looks like a great start!!
  8. Great Build!! Good luck Trooper!!
  9. Yep, sounds good!
  10. Yep! You're in the right section of the Right Detachment to all your Stormtrooper needs. Study this section, look at EIB submissions, ask questions...we love it!
  11. Start studying build threads and even EIB submissions. Take your time when you get it, cut long and trim. Just remember to ask before cut.
  12. I love my side shims too! We're all shapes and sizes here!
  13. For the best advice, take a pic with the belt just under the ab plate and we can advise you accordingly.
  14. Looking sharp Trooper!! Lots of Luck!
  15. Looking good! That is a great Tutorial to use, Pandatrooper did a great job!
  16. Welcome to the EIB club and Congrats!!!
  17. I used the method Germain mentioned for the holes and attached the plate with velcro to enable future modifications or repairs.
  18. Looks like a great start!
  19. In a pinch, I found a white wastebasket that was close to the ABS in color.
  20. I'd make a little silver mark on the nick, just adds some character. You wouldn't want to use E6000 ayway, epoxy is the correct course. Mine has withstood app. 50 troops with no trouble so far. You may try to wet down the area you are working on with water, won't hurt anything, may cut the dust down.
  21. I saw one on You Tube long ago, but I'm not 100% sure it is here anywhere.
