  1. Working in IT, I can terminate cat5 cable in my sleep. I'm very familiar and wasn't even aware this would be a viable option. Looking forward to the diagram and doing this
  2. Hope you plan to update the schematics so us dumb dumbs can follow along. I'll be buying all the needed items here soon. Do we need to remove the diode if we already have it on the SHA purchased from you?
  3. I plan on getting one!
  4. Those are top notch. Definitely would use something like that if I didn't use the ones with speakers. I definitely recommend using E6000 instead of ABS paste as glue though. Elastic eventually wears out and E6000 is way easier to remove.
  5. How long until you get your armor? Just bring a case of beer or if the people don't drink, sodas/water and get your learn on.
  6. It's not broken, it's just for members of the detachment. The example shirt is from the 501st racing shirt run. This run is the FISD as shown above in the first post of this thread.
  7. Congratulations!
  8. Sounds like it was ABS paste or styrene paste
  9. MEPD folks just got ours this week. I can confirm, if you wear a size L, get an XL. I never button the top one but if I wanted to I couldn't with my size L.
  10. Mine fits your bin where the Husky logo is. I didn't realize they were different sizes to my slim model until after I put my order in. Took 2 months to get though.
  11. Sounds good. Now hurry up and get your basic approval so you can buy one of these from the 501st forum.
  12. Use a high quality zipper and attach it with CA glue
  13. What happened to the zipper? Velcro or original method and call it a day.
  14. I'm surprised that this isn't exclusive to 501st members. Well I just got my MEPD shirt and while it fits, it's a little snug. If you normally wear a size L t-shirt, you should get a XL. If you have a barrel chest and a thick neck like I do, it'll fit but can't get the top button done.
  15. I'll need something soon because we have a lot of troops coming up and changing batteries half way isn't going to cut it for me. Plus freeing up space by removing battery sleds will be amazing!
  16. Maybe it's a blessing in disguise that I had my Anker purchase refunded? I'll order that one so I can be up to date with your changes. Cat6e will be a cool option as I'm very familiar working with it. The only thing I am concerned about is some of the Amazon reviews said they were sent counterfeit batteries so I will just order straight from the company.
  17. Just want to make sure you're talking about the XP-5 mini on Amazon? After a week I just got notice and am being refunded my money back for the Anker as they are discontinued.
  18. You don't need a heat gun or anything really. The tension of the ears once screwed in place will eliminate the gap.
  19. You can get all that done in a little over a week
  20. It's probably your work's firewall. Same as for me. I would post a screenshot but I'm not about to incriminate myself lol. I'm an admin so I can turn it off on my laptop if I want.
  21. I had to order a backup to the backup. Ears are the hardest part to do!
  22. Well in 30 years when I can retire, I'll have to switch garrison and move down to the gulf. Unless I win the lottery before that.
