Little mad at myself I didn't check here. Found the box on a Japanese sit for $26 ish and ordered it. I'll probably just order another one so I have two I recal talking to a few people at CE Europe and saying I'm sure it's a grenade case from some European army. The gaskets aren't gaskets. The entire under suit is that ribbed material. <br><br> Also I took a ton of reference photos of the shore trooper and TK's...

I'm trying to figure out the boots on the shore trooper. Both boots have a logo visible on them and I cannot figure it out. <br><br> Then there is the backpack on the TK...it's odd and that too I'm trying to figure out. The metal greeblie on it should help locate it.

It looks like the entire arm is that gasket like material.<br><br> Even the TK's have it

In the near future I might just buy another resin kit from sp00l68 just to have it on hand

She may not look like much but she's got it where it counts. I'm not going for accuracy at all. To a kid and most people it's going to look awesome. The humidity is not helping with the painting. I'll wait three hours until it's hopefully dry enough to handle but everything that needs to be black is black. Just need to paint the stock brown and make hand grips from some styrene. <br><br><br> I really will come back to the rifle after this weekends troop and probably bondo the life out of it.<br><br><br> Everything has been painted, will do a third coat on the rifle stock tomorrow morning and paint the styrene hand grips. Then I can assembly and mount the greeblies.

Id love to get a real sterling. A friend of mine has one and troops with it. It's ridiculously heavy.

It should work. Plus if I get scratches and what not I can just dab some silver over it and call it "weathering" I was just at wal mart and I forgot to get the ring mount for the butt stock so I can install a sling

Stuff painted!! Next week I'll fix the barrel reducer and use bondo for the first time. Glazing putty is only good for filling in bubble holes apparently and not big gaps. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'll have to do that. <br><br> So I painted the barrel and primed the resin parts. Wish I had used a plastic primer on the PVC pipes. Paint looks good but probably isn't bonded properly. I also used an automotive primer on the resin parts. Those should be ok. I hope.
