  1. The 2 cylinders sets I got from Joerg, the one with dual small capacitors (left) and the one with 3 holes (right). In the one with the 3 holes I added the capacitors I received from Rob after painting them, they are just attached with their wires and no glue or anything else, so if I want to reposition them or take them off, it can be done in 3 seconds. The entire ensemble is connected to the blaster with 2 flat and powerful rare earth magnets (glued to the cylinders and painted black), thus I can exchange between the two options and also change the position of the cylinders if want to: My converted Sterling, with Eagle Hengstler, M-40 scope (next week a M-38 arrives too), and the cylinders - the superb stand is made by Rob (thanks again buddy):
  2. Thanks. I might have to do that with an upcoming M-38. Or maybe leave it as is for now.
  3. Forgot to say mine arrived fine. I also got a set of cylinders with 3 holes, but the holes are a bit too small. Anyone tried to use these new cool capacitors from Rob for their cylinders?
  4. Very nice! As for the endcap it seems on the MR they are completely fixed with no spring (as it was to be expected anyway) and the release button under it has no role but decorative alas - thus it needs modifications to be able to put the folding stock. You could get a real folding stock and endcap.
  5. I thought it would be, because of the frame lining on the plaque This stand looks great, black with silver is exactly what a Stormtrooper blaster needs. Much better than all black, or all silver stand and even better than the MR mirrored base type stand. For a real blaster you need a solid stand like this, not a mirror stand
  6. Fantastic!! I like the plaque, is it from Pastor Jedi or Panther/Gatorbait?
  7. M-40 scope is what I have now too Very nice!
  8. It would have been so easy for MR to simply add a spring on the stock/barrel connector and thus make a folding stock. Unfortunately IIRC from my separate MR parts I sold not long ago the connector is welded in place so if you want to have a fodling stock, I'm afraid you need to pull the stock with a lot of force until it breaks free of the barrel. Not sure if worth it. I would say to try ading all the greeblies that will not affect its integrity as a whole, and that can be easily removed later if you want to: Hengstler with bracket connected on the 2 rail scope screws, and a set of cylinders - better using a rare earth magnet to attach the cylinders to the magazine. You can also replace the scope with a real one, but the MR scope is very cool on its own.
  9. Really great job on this. A real folding stock adds so much to a blaster. Congrats!!
  10. Option 1 is what I prefer as well. Let us see how it looks when finished
  11. Maybe could be the light being reflected on it?
  12. Congrats. MR E-11 is a nice blaster.
  13. The MR E-11 blaster has screws that need to use a hex key on them. And it seems MR is accurate too, at least that is how they advertised it...
  14. Indeed the original M-38/M-40 screws are quite small, mine comes with the genuine ones.
  15. Doesn't matter if they are not 100% the same, still interested in my own set. Thanks again Rob for offering these to us! A great gesture!
  16. Wish there was a better picture of that, seen it before but only in this low res alas. Anyway I'm still curious on how MR did their prototype E-11 blaster and how did they attach Hengstler and cylinders. I asked on Rebelscum the member who has that proto, but no answer yet: http://forum.rebelsc...9/#post18276039
  17. Drooling already!! Thanks for doing this for us Rob!!
  18. IIRC the MR indeed has the back sighting removed - have to look at mine when getting home (and I really hate taking it off, since is on the top shelf and that mirror base is fragile as hell). But personally I prefer the sighting left in place.
  19. I changed the way my rail is connected too, I added a screw as close as possible to the MR version. Though I won't be taking off my MR blaster anymore, I hate its fragile mirror base. I've seen this picture below, the same way is conencted on my Sterling and on MR.
  20. Your t-tracks look great! Look on some screen shots with ANH blasters and you can see they look quite bad.
  21. That would be awesome too! Especially if also at a lower price compared to Russ, and of course to be delivered faster, Russ' run is still on hold for a very long time now.
