  1. Thanks a lot! Bought the bronze resin M19 scope from Tk-4702, had it drilled out and got a lens from TK-8505 that I'll fit. Gonna make it look as real as I can, and post pics when I'm done. Basically all it needs is a paintjob.
  2. Looks real beautiful. can't wait to see the build progress.
  3. Yes! Looks great! And I dig that you also got the TD sniper knee plate, just so you have the option if you want to.
  4. Congratulations! I guess the initial anxiousness will become a distant memory once you start assembling that beautiful piece of armor. And I can't imagine you'd want to upgrade or sell it either. You've reached max level with an RS suit, hehe.
  5. I suppose so! Used them myself on the thighs, haven't had any issues yet, but I haven't trooped in the suit either.
  6. When I first started out looking for types of armor to buy, AP was a top contender for me, but a lot has happened in that short amount of time (under a year), so if I were coming into this hobby now with a budget I'd definitely go for ATA.
  7. The tubestripes should be about 1cm away from the ridge. I did an hilariously bad photoshop to show what I mean:
  8. Yes, Andy they are. And Stephen, I can't wait to see the progress on this. It looks amazing!
  9. Here's what I did for my Doopydoo's build, and it sits secure as hell:-----------------
  10. My first thought would be to check out MTK helmet kits in the for sale/ongoing orders forums. Accurate and fairly reasonably priced kits.
  11. Congrats Eric! Great to see you approved, and the RT-MOD looks great on you :-D Work it, brother!
  12. Haha, thanks Daniel, looks like you've picked up a little norwegian yourself I'm 6.0ft 183cm, Jason. And thanks for the compliment
  13. Thanks! I hope you can understand at least something Funny how swedes tend to have a hard time understanding Norwegian, but norwegians seem to understand swedish quite allright. My in-laws and girlfriend are from northern sweden and moved to Norway 12 years ago, they still speak swedish amongst themselves, but my girlfriend speaks norwegian normally. I try to learn swedish and speak "svorsk" a bit when I am with them.
  14. Here is a segment from local Student TV considreing unusal hobbies, where they interviewed me about 501st and having a stormtrooper costume: http://www.stv.no/co...t/webitem/1720/ @ 19:18, it's all in Norwegian though, but it turned out pretty decent I think. And my buddy sent me a few pictures from a session in the studio.
  15. I would go for an ATA kit, mostly for the affordability, but also because it's an accurate suit that can be made to look great if you take your time assembling it. I'd be interested in an ATA sandtrooper, but I just finished my TK, so I can't justify spending funds on a new project just yet...
  16. I almost can't believe it. What an immensely awesome job! And here I though building a regular TK was tough, forget about it, this goes above and beyond!
  17. Approved, made Centurion and ready for trooping!

  18. Is the data in? Would be really interesting do see
  19. Awesome! I see you got power cylinders, will you be adding them and a hengstler, or will you be leaving it clean? Can't wait to see it "finished".
