  1. All I can say is that as long as you keep to the spinach you'd be fine. (eh Popeye). Toot-toot.
  2. Not only that I think he ships using a Lead Coffin.
  3. I think the guys casting them at the mo using wrought iron.
  4. Saw this item on eBay Item and wasn't sure anyone else had done so. I simply love it. Check out the shipping costs, and reason behind it. Guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
  5. I'd go as far as suggesting Sand troopers don't have them at all, check out this Image
  6. Got the Force Unleashed, thats okay, but I kept getting beaten by my 6 year old son (seems to know all the button combo's off the back of his hand) not being a competitive father I gave it up Currently at 97% on the Lego Clone Wars game on the PS3, beating him there
  7. The line up of the holes looks a little odd to me, but then I've never modified one of these. Vern put a lovely template of the layout in this Topic to see what I mean.
  8. I can verify that the M40 1942 variant is identical also to the M38s of the same year, in shape.
  9. These appear to be similar British monocular British monocular B&S CF 28A 7 x 42 1953/54 no: 108248 The B&S CF 28A is a porro II prism monocular with 7 times magnification and a 42mm objective lens. Its field of view is 127yds/1000ft. or 7°18'. The patent number 572537 engraved at the top of the prism box tells us that there is " a thin sheet of a transparent flexible material" between the prism elements (s. W.Reid's book "We're certainly ....", p. 168). Also the field lens is cemented to the prism. other monocular Does anyone know what scopes these are on the e-11 for sure?
  10. Easier still, I guess you could have drilled two holes one at either end and passed coping saw blade through and simply cut the bulk out?
  11. Did you have to remove all the trimming to get it to hold? It looks quite similar to the lining I have inside my MR LE lid, though I'd never mess with that. I had up to now thought about using a strap from one of these things: Strimmer Visor They come off real easy and have a ratchet on the strap. The one I have fits okay inside, but would need gluing. Thing is I don't troop, or at least not yet as I don't possess armor I had been thinking this would add to the MRCE as a display piece perhaps? That said, Ken anything you could say about the fitting process of these would certainly help me make my mind up about the time and hassle of doing this mod.
  12. Does it help with the fit? At the moment I've got a ratchet style head brace which will fit inside the lid, and which obviously does stop the wobble a wee bit.
  13. Stumbled on this when I was looking on eBay earlier: eBay Link Has anyone ever brought one of these and does it truly fit the MRCE? If anyone has any pictures that would be great.
  14. Does anyone have any real nice pics of this type of configuration on their blaster, also is there a template which lays out exactly where to put the holes for the scope?
  15. Thanks Brian. my knowledge of the expanded universe is pretty much non existent. If it were something from the OT I'd have a chance.
  16. Can someone tell me where did the Shadow trooper spawn from. They seem to be growing in popularity, but have no idea what started this all?
  17. I think Paul nailed it with that. This link is pretty good, and details a few world wide smg type armaments. If you look under Japan there are a few variants of this type 96 which all look very similar. -----------
  18. Gaines On a serious note the shape is similar to this French gun, MAT 49 9mm SMG.: ----------
  19. Not sure about that, I ran a direct comparison with my sons Lego blaster collection, and I think they have far too much detail for that: ---------
  20. PM sent
  21. I think you mean one like this:
  22. What I don't understand is this. Why is it that the 501st have such a loose view on the blaster, but on items such as the helmet it is far more stringent, and by this I mean why can you not use an MRCE in its untampered state and which is actually a very nice lid and in view that they would like to encourage larger membership?
  23. Sorry Adrian, but this was not directed to you in person it was simply meant to be my take on the issue as a whole. I fully appreciate your position in not being able to do otherwise.
  24. I love the Hasbro as a nostalgic Toy, I think the way the the stock works (original 1970's style) is great too. However I think if you go to the trouble of putting a suit together, no mater how you dress up the Hasbro its never going to look that brill so I think you should kinda stride to improve your blaster, and even if you don't make one the, something like the SDS version looks pretty sweet.
  25. Whoa thanks for the measurements Vern, thats just what I needed. As to your question Rob I think I'll be looking to use hard plastic rather than rubber, simply because I think it looks nicer. Even though metal may not have been used I love what Michael has done. I think if had the skills and knew where you got that from I'd be tempted, the more metal on the blaster the more realistic it would be in an idealized state I think.----------- This is pretty much an idea of the profile of the stuff I'll be using.
