  1. You can probably knock some of that return out. It should be minimal. The neck opening should not have any return. Some people use a strap between bicep and fore-arm. I for one do not find it necessary and it seems to reduce flexibility. I just add some foam padding to the inside of the forearm piece to keep it from moving.
  2. Not as far as i know. I got mine at a plastics store. Online you can get it on Amazon or elsewhere Google Novus Polish. #3 is the coarsest, to #1 being cleaner only
  3. You need to go hang gliding to get the full effect id say
  4. There are a bunch of build threads for the ATA suit over in the Build forum. I personally recommend Pandatrooper's build, as he documents what he is doing really well.
  5. I think people just need to apologize to each other and let it go. Dont need troopers fighting each other.
  6. You would sit there and flex it back and forth until it got harder...like a paperclip. It would be not fun.
  7. Maybe some Nickel wire. You could always cold work the copper wire until it hardens up! The problem is if its not full hard copper it will just bend when any load is put on it.
  8. Wonky helmets are the way to go
  9. Be sure and post some photos so we can make sure you are ready for your EIB/Centurion application!! That way it will be a smooth ride!
  10. If his other transactions are any indicator he should be fine. I agree on some build threads though.
  11. Why not just order some gaffer tape online somewhere? It should be pretty easy to find. Check out the tutorial section on the front page. It has pretty much all the answers you are looking for------------- As to #2, the 4 rivets are for the "hero' suits. So Han and Luke only. #3 are you talking about the hard armor strap or the internal straps? #4 The original suits used hooks. I believe FirebladeJedi has a bunch of reference in the tutorials on that. See above link #5 No reason you couldnt. I would think gluing the bolt would cause some problems, as a metal to plastic glue joint wont last too long. You should give it a shot, and post your progress! Many troopers are looking for innovative ways to build. Centurion CRL says the knee piece is glued.
  12. The helmets have just barely started shipping (if at all) and the armor is not available yet. Check the RPF thread man...
  13. CRL says they can be either way so im assuming some were, some werent.
  14. Only comment that has not been voiced is to adjust your padding(if any) in the thigh so that the knee plate on your left shin does not fall under the thigh piece. And TKboots!!! Looking great otherwise.
  15. Latex neck seals should be pretty awesome! Best part IMO will be not having a big seam on the back to make it off-round.
  16. Nothing like the smell of E-6000 to set ones heart racing and head spinning!
  17. You might be able to repair them by adding a pre bent backing piece of plastic and gluing it in with plastic weld.
  18. Having only owned ATA and AP armor, i cant comment on the TE2. ATA ABS is a great kit though. I had to trim it down a bunch though, as im skinny. I actually had to trim down my AP set a bit if that is any comparison.
  19. I do this... But i also wear them pretty tight.
  20. Joe, Check out these handy tutorials on the front page. ----- That is the one for the shoulders. To me, they look a tiny bit over-trimmed, but should be fine anyways. I would guess some of the actual ANH suits were that way anyhow.
  21. If you have to sit, you can pop off your butt plate. backstage type sitting, but you can do it without fully suiting down.
  22. And its compact and cheap!
  23. I would use solid gold, but thats just me
