  1. You could trim down the return edge on the back plate and a bit on the front section as well. The AP trim lines leave a thick return edge. That is what i did on my AP (also a skinny guy) and i have no gap at all now. You can make snap attachments with webbing. Just put the snap through a piece of webbing and then glue that down. Not as strong, but works in a pinch.
  2. What was your primary inspiration for the over-all design of both the helmet and suit?
  3. I better not tell you about my AP set then
  4. Quite true. Always great getting stuff from Mike
  5. Shims are acceptable as long as the gap is not big.
  6. I can post a photo when i get home. Basically mine are: 1" section of webbing. Put a 5/16" (or whatever size you use) snap through it. A punch helps a lot with making the hole. Then apply E-6000 glue to the webbing and snap and place in desired spot. If its close to the edge i will clamp it down while it dries, otherwise i place a small piece of wax paper over the webbing and use magnets to hold it down while the glue dries. Wait 24 hours before trying to yank on it.
  7. You can also use webbing to make snap attachment points (i.e put the snap through some webbing and glue it on) buts not as strong. best go with snap plates.
  8. Yeah, just gotta buy some armor before i go and get one of these. Damn budget lol I will get one though!
  9. Might want to strap the butt plate up a bit tighter too.
  10. Yes, should have said its a 'should have'

  12. nice job, brother!
  13. 501st is a great group. I recommend joining, even if you dont troop much.
  14. I think i am going to order one of these babies today! Need a Centurion approved E-11 to go with DLT-19! EDIT: $30 shipping! Ouch, gonna have to wait on this i think
  15. You may also want to cut the corners of the ammo belt to 45 degree angles. They are square right now. Otherwise looks great!
  16. I would recommend either ABS ATA or AP. Since its your first suit i would go with the ATA, as the AP suit is harder. Not terribly, but enough to be a headache for a first suit. ATA goes together with less hassle. Both suits would look good on you though with trimming.
  17. Same, gotta go centurion
  18. Just let us know when to start sending you money haha!
  19. Buy me a plane ticket and i will smuggle all the sets i can carry or conceal Though if mike could distribute in the US that would be preferable since i dont really want to get cavity searched.
  20. Seems events are faster than i read haha
