  1. The belt is a multi-layered canvas btw. About 3 inches wide. Here's a picture of an original TK belt which is made from the same materials as what Luke wore.
  2. Yeah. Sorry about that. http://www.whitearmor.net/eib/certificates/70701-centurion.png
  3. About time mate. http://www.whitearmor.net/eib/certificates/6042-centurion.png
  4. Masking tends to bleed more than it is worth cleaning up. You already seem to have steady hands so I would recommend staying on that path. But of course you can try it out on scraps first. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

  8. Yeah, the image itself could have been uploaded corrupted. I'll try to re-upload it later.
  9. Not to mention that people known to recast are often denied buying other people's stuff regardless of their future intentions. Once burned the community is twice shy. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  10. Really? And the gallery link leads to this:
  11. SDS is approvable after some improvements. But it is not the best looking one, and you can get better for less money if you build yourself.
  12. I don't see a problem with you going EIB with it.
  13. No it's not. The pepakura model you used was intended to be used and shared that way. Recasting is not.
  14. If you are going to redo something to the point of a new original, don't use a crappy FX like those often sold on ebay. Because those are so way off that you are literally better off starting from scratch.
  15. As usual you have to choose between speedy delivery, accuracy and low cost. But you may only choose two.
  16. It will work just fine. Maybe they risk popping off at a later date if the bond isn't good enough. But by then you know where to put it back and can use another glue. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  17. It depends on if you do stunt or hero. Stunt is 5 4 teeth. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  18. One of the perks of being the DL is that I get to know things ahead of time. So I know that the new kit, lets call it "AM2" (anyone read Sten?) will be better than the old AM. But it's not a complete remake.
  19. Also keep in mind that both Rob and Simon in RS are official 501st members. The legion needs to take care of it's own. And while Mightytank is also a member, he is not the producer of the kits.
  20. <sarcasm>Yes, because at least three of the people spotting the recast plain as a day, who have 10+ years of experience looking at armour have no idea what they are talking about. Including the person taking the photos with both kits in hand. Obviously it's not a a recast. </sarcasm>
  21. All of them make really nice armour, and if you want it glossy or more creamy, you can have either.
  22. Slim and 5 foot 10. Any screen accurate suit will fit. Since you're a UK fellow, I would say that if money is less of a problem, go with either TM, RS or CFO (as they are all UK based) depending on which version you want to have. All of them can also build the suit for an additional fee to meet your measurements.
  23. I'm sure some parts could be re-used, but when you look closer, the two guns (MG34 and MG42) are quite different from another.
  24. That gun you depict is the MG42 (or clone of) which is not what the DLT-19 is made from, which was the MG34. But the MG42 was used for some other star wars rifles.
