Kris, you think you could round up some local boys to show up for an armor party? I was thinking like one of those big silver things full of beer, and a leaning Tower of Pizza. My hostess friend also has "Rock Band" for PS3.

Well I was thinking that if I kept the helmet, get some ESB hand plates and an additional right handed belt assembly, I could go ESB on Wednesday thru Friday and ANH from Saturday to Tuesday.

Paypal sent! Now the waiting game commences. This is going to go with my current TE2 Helmet. Im not sure about the TE that comes with the armor. My first inclination is to sell it to replenish my paypal account. I wiped it clean in the process of ordering this. But then again, Its an ESB helmet signed by Matt. Its hard to just up and sell something that nice.

I know! I am so stoked about this! Even comes with boots near my size. I've already dropped my friend in Atlanta a myspace message begging her to let me throw an armor party at her place.

OMG I cant believe nobody bid on this!!! Oh wait one guy did....*Icky Shuffle*.....Me! Matt I'm getting one of your helmets! The screen accurate signed Follano, don't know the guy but mighty fine work you have there sir! This thing sat on Ebay for 2 weeks and nobody bid on it...I couldnt stand it anymore. I had to buy it. I see mucho sanding...and mucho priming...and why am I saying mucho? and some Rustoleum Gloss white Enamel (Mike Harrison for President) Probably all new strapping. solemn oath "this will not get in the way of my blaster building." Probably strip the helmet down and redo the ESB...get some hand plates...probably get a little more expensive on the voice electronics...but not much more. Maybe go wireless....Awww man, now I need 2 blasters...

Thanks for showing how this is done. I'm not gonna use this for the blasters I'm selling because it wasnt my idea, but for the one Im keeping, Im definitely gonna use it. Such an awesome effect.

I really thought I was on to something with mine then I realized It was alot harder than originally thought, then I got wrapped up in blasters.

Yeah those are the DVD's that I have too. The one that ticks me off the most is the completely re-vamped CG version of the Jabba's palace band. The Original Sly Snoodles kicked a very impolite person.

The FISD has made some major improvements lately. Pat on the back boys! The new Selection showing the Elite Gallery is a great incentive to reach elite stadards. I cant believe we have so few holders of Elite status. Man you guys kill me...but Im almost there, getting closer to being able to get the armor I want. We should double the number of Elite members by 2009. It will be just sad if we dont. All Hail President Scroob!

Pinstriping, it cost like $5 and its done in 5 minutes. And you have enuff left over to fill a warehouse with helmets.

I originally planned to put fans inside this helmet but after wearing the helmet for over an hour last night I had no fogging or heat issues, I see no need for fans in this helmet.

Well I got my voice electronics installed today and it works beautifully with Supertroopers speakers! Here are some pics of the install. Voice Demo Video coming soon! This is it for TE2 #32. Not bad for a first helmet. Thanks to all who contributed knowledge and advice!

My goal is to reach elite status on my first costume. Things are moving slow for me but I will be on that list by the end of the year.

If you use bondo you will have to repaint the helmet. Bondo is a burgundy color. If you look in my building thread you will see my helmet in the early stages with red spots all over it. That stuff is bondo. So if you bondo, painting the helmet is a requirement.

Im just as OCD as you are when it comes to ear gaps apparently. I filled in my gaps with bondo and sanded them smooth and shiny. Check out my Helmet build thread in my signature. It shows my whole ear delimma. I'm very satisfied with my bondoed ears. I did get some hairline fractures in my bondo when I put in my neck trim but I touched them up afterwards with some caulking.
