  1. Looks great man. I cant wait for all of my soft parts to arrive. All have been purchased now its just playing the waiting game.
  2. Im no fan of Hasbro blasters. I thought they looked decent when featured in the pictures for people selling the upgrade resin kits but after seeing one in person I wasnt very impressed.
  3. This is like the primaries....it doesn't really count.
  4. There is only one way to start a Starwars movie marathon, and thats with the Tantive raid. So for me its original trilogy and then the prequels. I really like them all except for the Phantom Menace.
  5. That is nice what they are doing at the MEPD but it would be cooler if the pop up picture was larger.
  6. A suggestion for the Elite page: As of now, when you click the picture it takes you to the 501st profile. You should use the name below the picture for that link, and when you click the picture you get a hi res version of the smaller Alumni picture. Elite costumes should be the best of the best and should be seen. It would be a great reference tool for those in pursuit of Elite Status. My 2 bits.
  7. One more pic from the armor party. At one point we had a TE TE2 MRCE and FX lined up side by side but we didnt get a picture of it For the true bobble head effect, wear GF armor with an FX bucket! I'm ready to win coach! Just put me in the game!!! Initiating contact with the pizza guy
  8. If I was putting the helmet together like I did on my ANH I would have went decals for the ESB helmet just because Im not one to rock the boat. My delimma is that the ESB that came with my armor has handpainted traps. I think they are very nicely done and it would be a shame to cover them with decals just to achieve a status title. If the standards dont change then I will be ANH Elite only. My ESB will still look top notch, it just wont be elite...somehow, I think I will manage. It would still be nice to hold a dual elite status.
  9. Paint the inside of the helmet around the vents black so you cant see any white from the outside and then dress the outer surface up with some grey and black and It might work. Put in some black mesh.
  10. With all the epoxy that was already "Kevin-ing" up the interior I wasn't worried about inside looks anymore.
  11. I just bought 2 of these. I plan to incorporate them into my wal mart voice changer set up so that the mic is wired into the helmet and wirelessly transmitts to the voice changer in the chest plate. Hopefully it works good because I went ahead and bought one for each of my helmets.
  12. You cant beat them. Nice firm grip and only $10.
  13. Should you be able to get ESB Elite Status without decals? Handpainted tears and traps and the people who love them, on the next Rikki Lake...
  14. Installed runnriottt lens this morning and installed the veil. Now on to electronics and I am also considering getting the proper neck trim.
  15. Yeah the "mesh" is the chair on the back deck of the house Maybe Kevin did do it. Who knows Kevin might be a chronic recaster and did this to his own helmet to beat his urges.
  16. There's no cracks these arent the typical places that you would find a thin spot on the helmet.
  17. Just think, with numb fists, its a shame you cant get 5 minutes alone with the scumbag that was responsible for this whole mess.
  18. I was working on my thighs today and I pondered this same issue. I was thinking about using magnets, one on the inside and one on the outside. Stong enuff magnets I think would do the trick.
  19. You'd have to see it in person. If the epoxy was used to glue something inside the helmet, it would have left an indention in the epoxy, but theres no indentions. It makes no sense to me either anymore.
  20. No the epoxy is clearly an anti-recast measure. What's got me boggled is who would have done that. Other than Gino or TE I cant think of anyone who would worry about it being recast. Its just not something and end user would worry about. I was hoping that it might have been a bucket that maybe the two had worked together.
  21. Bigturc is exactly right
  22. I talked to Gino and he doesnt recognize the helmet and says that the epoxy inside was not his doing either. Interesting. Well I'm all out of ideas of who could have put the epoxy inside.
  23. Woohoo! just scored some Runriottt lenses for this project!
