I wanted to tone down the lights some, so I pried them apart and cut circles out of a milk jug to fit in the lens. I like how they turned out!

I was supposed to be backup dancer for my 501st friend Wet Okole at this year's Kawaii Kon, but his ironman is not done. Maybe next year Our Kon is 3 days...not sure if I will wear this on my own or stick with femtrooper/fem-tie/Juno. I am getting a good collection though!

Ouch! Sorry to hear about that! No one form your Garrison could hellp you get it sorted? We work with the newbies here to build their stuff and get them right on. That looks like an ABS set, not painted? You could still maybe get away with some bondo and paint on the tear. I use white appliance epoxy paint, and it matches the ABS plastic quite well.

Ok, after all this time waiting for my missing Tk armor pieces, I thought if I went pilot I'd get all the flight gear and be good to go. Somehow when I went to get my flight issue, it is still tighter and more shiny than what regular tie-pilots get...seems to be a pattern here! Still, I can not wait to start flight training!

Pop Rivets are fine, when the covers are on, no one will ever see what is under. Is there any other kind of rivet?

To speed things up on mine, I used E-6000, then spot glued using CA glue and accelerant spray. With that small of a lip, may need a little more strength?

There will always be advantages and disadvantages...AM is great for big guys, easy to find, durable, affordable, and easy to assemble. The simon suit may be totally screen accurate, but some people just want white and shiny. I think there will be a niche for all makers.

Just to update you all, I just pay-pal'd, look for me to be a "black widow" soon! I should not have done it, but what the heck, I can eat ramen LOL! Matt on the 501st forum put it together, it is a great look! I am little smaller of course, will need some mods, bu stay tuned for details. Everyone's favorite crazy femtrooper is at it again!
