Budget TK boots from Target
RogueTrooper replied to Feezle's topic in Boots, Soft Parts, and other Accessories
Yeah they do look shorter that the regular Jodphurs and the TKboots...But, as you said, for $20, give it a shot! Don't forget to use a color preparer, so the boots will hold the dye well. -
Almost the Destroyed my shins

oooh, that hurts, but like Noel said, it can be fixed. With another strip, some putty, sanding and paint, you'll never know it happened. -

Yet another AM build![*AM]
RogueTrooper replied to Astroth's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
Hey Jonny, It sounds like your have gotten a lot done I'm glad the glue's working for ya now I think you did a good job on the FX lid, but the frown has a little too much paint The frown should not come over or even touch the mouth only the teeth of the TK lid. Here are some real 1977 ANH lids to help you. . . . . Here are a couple of great examples of Fan Made lids: Jez's TE2 lid: SuperTrooper's ANH AP lid: It maybe the pix, but the gray that you used looks a little off. Here is the color chart, the frown is Humbrol 5 or Testor's 1138 : -

From what I can see, your build is coming along nicely Jesse Keep up the good work! -
He is not stating the SDS in the description anymore, but he is still trying to sell his assistance on purchasing a TK suit. I guess he is hoping nobody realizes the pic he is using of the TK, he pulled from this link on Bayraider, that was posted back in 09 October 2007:http://www.bayraider.tv/2007/10/stormtrooper-co.html

Hey Dan, I hate to hear that about your MR E11 Can you post some pix and we will try to help you to fix it I searched in all 8 pages about E11's on the FISD for anything to do with MR E11's....I didn't see anything of a MR E11 tutorial on total breakdown. And I checked over at MEPD.net, the only thing I could find is this: "MR E-11! Help from the experts wanted." ---------

RogueTrooper replied to Darth Niob's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
Hey Dan!! You stated " I haven't signed on for at least 6 months or made any claims that my molds are done. They aren't " Mr Laws Posted 12 January 2010 - 01:23 PM #46 It has the dimple, because the originals had the same dimple in the tear trap. It was present in both of TE's ANH helmets. and Mr Laws Posted 12 January 2010 - 01:27 PM #47 My helmets are done and I'm finishing up the armor, as we speak!!! I will post pics soon. Here is the link to them: http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=7900&st=40 Dan I am not going to get into a mud slinging contest with you. I just want you to know that you need to get your facts straight. Your are starting to remind me of Matt. -

Anyone else get burned by an Ebay buyer...and Paypal
RogueTrooper replied to Wildabeast's topic in eBay Armor
I know it sounds crazy, but it could still be in customs. And when it comes to electronic devices, they wait to see if they are gonna go boom. Years ago, I had a long wait when I purchased a Laser Disc player from Japan, It sat in customs it seemed like forever!! Check with the postmaster at the branch you shipped the IPod from and see if He or She can contact the postal service in Italy or can give you their contact info (email or phone number). Update Ebay and PayPal to let them know what you are doing. The thing about Ebay and PayPal is, they want the seller to show that they are working to resolve the matter. -
Vintage SW E11 had a folding stock?!?
RogueTrooper replied to pandatrooper's topic in General Weapons Discussion
Hey Billy, I was five or six, and I guess my love for SW over powered any logical thinking I think we all have done something like that at one point or another And don't get me started on the G.I.Joes and G1 Tranformers -
Also, you can look at PacTec too for electronic boxes--------------
-
Brilliant Peter!! Love the idea! Hey Rolf, the box looks to me to be a Lincoln Binns, Here is the link:------------

Hey John, WTB are not permitted here, try looking or asking the same question in the "For Sale or Trade - Personal Items" of the FISD

Vintage SW E11 had a folding stock?!?
RogueTrooper replied to pandatrooper's topic in General Weapons Discussion
I too, have one of the vintage kenners with the stock. When I was five or six I traded some Hot wheels to a kid that lived near me for it..I also love how the yellow and black barber rod in the barrel spins, as a kid that was too cool The old school Toy E11 was the the tops, I love me some vintage -
My first bucket assembly... Problems!
RogueTrooper replied to VeryQueasy's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
Hey Nathan, You stated that you are going for the Hero look and I know that said that you realize that the ears on a Hero only have two screws holding them on. That is true. It looks to me that your helmet was set up to be a Stunt to begin with from the photos that you posted. Here are some detailed differences from Hero and Stunt to help you out. Stunt Helmet: High brow line Three screws holding each ear on (two on the flat round part, one above and one below the sensor ridges). The third screw is at the bottom of the ear, near the neck rim. Ear sensor ridges (Four ridges per ear) Flat green lenses Three to five teeth on each side of the frown (the majority of the Stunt Helmets had four on each side, total of eight) Original screen used helmets were made out of khaki HDPE and painted white Hero Helmet: Low brow line Two screws holding each ear on (one above the sensor ridge and one at the bottom of the ear, near the neck rim) Ear sensor ridges (Three ridges per ear) Dark green or smokey gray bubble lenses Three teeth per each side of the frown Original screen used helmets were made out of milk white ABS and there was no need to paint them Now after looking at the list of the differences, your helmet comes closer to being a Stunt than a Hero. Not only how many screws you have holding the ears on, you have four ridge sensors on each ear, and eight teeth. Without a lot of modification, such as, having to fill in the mouth and having to re-do the ridge sensors, to make them three on each side, my advice is to raise the brow and make your helmet a Stunt Helmet. To get a comparison, go to this link:http://www.starwarshelmets.com/original-stormtrooper-comparisons.htm Here is a little diagram that I threw together to show you how you can change the brow line to match the Stunt better. As you start from the corner of where the ear meets the cap part, and as you get closer to the front, start widening the cut of the wedge of your brow. Start out with a little. You can always take of more, but you can never put back. If you have any problems or need some help, let me know. It is always better to measure twice and cut once. ,
