Its that time of the month again! I found some time to work on this. Remade the torso from the ground up and a lot more happy with it. Let me know any critiques as I will be aiming to print them ASAP. Please keep in mind the back indents are not put in yet as I need to complete all forms first.

Bonjour, Je me présente, je m'appelle Florian, j'habite en France (Marseille), j'ai découvert l'univers Star Wars à l'âge de mes 4 ans grâce à mon père (membre 501st FG) qui m'a fait découvrir les films et depuis je suis un véritable passionné. Cadet à la Galactic Academy, j'ai eu l’opportunité de pouvoir faire plusieurs sorties et évènement caritatif avec la 501st French Garrison de la région Paca, pendant plus de 2 années. En cette journée du 4 mai 2026, aussi journée de ma Fête, mon armure de Commander Stormtrooper a été approuvée pour rejoindre la 501e Légion. Je suis fier de pouvoir faire partie de cette famille.

They appear to be the old ROTJ style suits that Disney used to use 10+ years ago before Galaxy's Edge was built. Notice the piping around the edges of the torso armor. These pieces must have been beat up back when those TKs use to dance, so the piping likely hides cracks. That, or these are new suites made in the style of the previous generation. As much as I prefer the OT over the Sequel time period, this shift at Disneyland results in the lack of one continuous story at Batuu west. Now guests essentially walk into different areas as they wander the Black Spire area. Will it be nice to see white at Celebration next year? Yes. Do I hope this same shift is adopted at Walt Disney World? I hope not.

You may have seen my post on Facebook asking the same thing. https://www.facebook.com/groups/www.whitearmor.net/posts/1920603061904644 The consensus was probably more around comfort and being able to swap out costumes amongst different size performers. They have unlimited resources and fewer constraints. Imagine if you had to wear someone else's kit every time you trooped! :O. They don't have to follow the same standards as we all strive to and I'm sure it's only us nerds who notice the oddness of the look after studying our CRLs that we know the details so well. As much as i am disappointed in the choice Disney has made to switch timelines, I am willing to cut their performers some slack on the challenges and wardrobe malfunctions that are probably inevitable. Must be weird switching to OT armor after however many years in FO armor.

Update: The issue with the shoulder bridges are allmost solved and I'm ready for new approval pictures (not this ones here). I also shortend the lenght of the right bridge after the fitting test here, because the bridge touches the 0II box.
