  1. The two most memorable trooping moments for me were 1) The first time I ever went to Emerald City Comic Con. This was before the event was big and when my garrison was pretty small. No one wanted to troop it so my fellow TD Brian Sasaki & I went on our own. We got all of 5' inside the door and were mobbed for photos by at least 10 minutes, and couldn't even move. I've never been so mobbed for photos since. They ended up using our pix in promos on their website. This was 2006. 2) Rose Parade, 2007. Being flown out to California for a week, 4 men crammed into a room with 2 beds, Germans, Brits, and Belgians trying to see who can stay up the latest at the bar. Not much for sleep but yeah being able to march 5 miles in full armor with 200 other troopers from around the world. And as you can see all the memories, the impromptu football, etc. Nothing else has come close.

  2. Hello! I hope this topic is fine, if not, feel free to remove it. So, whilst I've seen memes pop up every now and then, I haven't seen any actual thread with memes about the FISD. Because I personally love commenting the things in my life in memes, I decided to make a few memes about the FISD, based on things that I've noticed on here so far. Please feel free to share your own memes as well, if you've got any This was something that I had a bit of trouble with in the beginning... Perhaps some of you can relate, haha Don't worry, we appreciate it I've only been on here for a short time, but during that time there've been a lot of armors by Glen. Most impressive! The struggle is real. Now I just need the money and to decide on what I am going to build. "Troopers helping Troopers" really encompasses the spirit of the FISD and I appreciate that very much. No explanation needed Feel free to share some more memes or to take this post down if it's too off-topic for the off-topic area

  4. Hello! I recently found a deal on Facebook marketplace for a full TK kit for $50. It was a landlord selling left behind stuff from an old tenant and they had no idea what it was or where it came from, just wanted it gone. Can anyone help me identify it? I’m not well versed in the different TK makers. I know it’s not Anovos for sure since I already have one. I’ve seen suggestions this could be a WTF set but I’m not sure. Thanks in advanced! 11. A nice surprise albeit you'd think they would try to notify you will such a big delivery. They are useless here, I had a printer delivered on good Friday when everything was closed, no notification and only saw the box the next morning on my way out to walk the dogs, luckily it hadn't been taken. I don't use the hard hats, I have a thin 10mm piece of foam on the top of the helmet and small blocks of foam on the sides, stops the helmet from wobbling. I found the same issue, color was a little different between the plastic (base helmet) and the premier line (fibreglass) luckily the plastic matched a base white from the auto shop, premier line I have on show. Looking forward to seeing the build progress

  12. As for replacement batteries and just swapping it out that would be easy enough for me, I was always thinking that if I would do something it would be the mod so that you could charge it up again! (that's the one solution that seemed to hard for me)
