Thank you for all the welcomes and warm wishes! I'll start a build thread relatively soon, none of the parts are printed yet as I only just got the files and I promised a friend I'd print out a mandalorian helmet for her first. And thank you for the advice on acquiring the softer goods.

If you look at the reference photos, they look like they are okay. As they go all the way to the top on one photo, but are a bit shorter like yours in the other. Personally, I like the look better with the gap covered. Remember though that the top of the cover strip will be hidden under the shoulder bell.

Im printing the galactic armoury version but the jetpack is a pain, no holes for wiring as im adding a remote compressed air chamber for thrusters. I may have to make my own middle section in fusion 360 to create the perfect housing. once I finish the jetpack I will post images etc... compressed air thruster will work by a servo and a remote fob trigger what i will be putting into the pistol. jetpack bottom lights will turn on with the thruster to colour the smoke/air..
