  1. Thank you for that feedback! I also have an email out to my local garrison's GML, so hopefully he is also in agreement. If he gives it the ok, that's the method I'll go with

  2. Thank you, Chemi! I appreciate you looking into it. I made a few adjustments to the fitting of the thigh piece so I could better illustrate the issue I'm working with. This is the thigh piece with the triangular gap and the angular ridge: I then adjusted the bottom tape to simulate how the piece would look if it were completely level. In this case, the two sides between the gap where the plastic is added is parallel: Personally, I prefer the look where the bottom is more snug to the top of my knee and the ridge is angular, but it's all contingent on what is garrison approvable. As always, I appreciate any input!

  3. This is all in fun, as I have received several messages offering to help, but a lot of the time, this is how it feels. But that's okay, I enjoy my ability to give back to the detachment.

  4. Hello everyone. I'm finally jumping in after decades of "being too busy". I have my heart set on an RS prop masters kit. Just waiting for their next run. Very much looking forward to getting it and putting it together. I'll be happily spotting until I can troop myself. Thanks for having me.

  5. Hi Jonathan. You are right. We have looked at the different options and we believe that the best option is the one you mention (the bottom is more snug to the top of your knee and the ridge is angular). And as Glen rightly pointed out, mobility cuts can help with appearance. However, it is your GML who must approve it at the base level, so before making any modifications, you will have to ask him for his opinion about it. Keep it up Jonathan, you are doing a fantastic job... Congratulations!!!!

  7. Thanks Glen. I ran into the same searches.. but I was not aware of the 3.6V only requirement. I was also looking for circuit protection, and rechargeable.. to which I couldn't find on Amazon because the mA was a lot higher than 900 of the starting post. But I did eventually find it. https://www.batteryjunction.com/protected-14500-lithium.html Its the exact one Sly11 used, I believe. I found the same issue with Amazon on the battery box. I will go with the one you suggested! Cheers!

  8. Doesn't appear there is any strapping between the posterior and cod in that image as the cod is angled outwards as well as the posterior.

  10. I can't speak to the DN kit..but I had the same issue with my Anovos kit back in the day. I just tightened up the strap between cod and butter and it pretty much eliminated the issue Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

  12. I received my BBB 6/10/23. It's a WTF suit. I already have my helmet, E11, and boots from my previous suit. I started trimming the forearms yesterday.
