Today I’ve worked on the handle. First challenge was to reconstruct the puzzle. Then assembling was easy. I’ve glued the selector to prevent it from rotate when moving the lever. After that, I’ve had some difficulties to assemble the two parts of the handle (left and right). So I’ve to trim a little the right part and the trigger guard (in red). Everything went fine and I was to finish by fixing the plastic cross to the aluminum part with the transverse screw. My mistake was not to clean the screw thread. May be some little aluminum parts were lying here : my screw was jam and I’ve destroyed in when removing it. Fotunately it didn't broke in the thread ! The thread wasn’t in a good shape but I’ve rebuilt it. Will ask Chris to send me a new transverse screw. So, one advice : clean the thread before screwing !

Yes, it does look like we need to adjust our cover strip. Here's the best shot of the bottom of that thigh that I could find. It's dang near impossible to look at that detail in game because you can't tilt the camera at the right angle to view it. We'll get you a new shot of that armor piece and of Holley wearing the kit with the adjustment made sometime within the next day or two.

Hi Pam I actually need both left and right thigh ammo pack fixing. I´m sure they are the same but still need to see it And, I need you to tweek the sniper knee as CRL L2 states that it must aligne with the ridges of the shin. The inside part is great but this side needs to come down more or in other words, get the red line to were the blue is. I would try and just loosen this side to start with, if that´s a no-go I would take the sniper knee off and remove all the lower return egde (indicated by the arrows) and that should help with getting it in check. Also, I´m off for a 3day convention Troop tomorrow and staying in a hotel and not bringing my computer, so I won´t be able to proceed with your review untill I get back on sunday. It`s just over an 8h drive so wednesday and sunday are travel days. I´m still available for questions and support if needs be though

This issue is not critical to approval, but I would offer that you have the shins paired-up wrong, and that the longer ankle edge goes on the inside. (see Ukwrath's build to confirm) The easiest way to tell is to look at how the ridges match at the top of the shins. One set has a fat ridge, and one has a skinny ridge. Right leg. Correct on left, incorrect on right: Left leg. Correct on left, incorrect on right:

Hit “Eadu Armory” on Facebook. PM Jim, he has a large stock pile of belt materials, good price. He can also sew Velcro on it for you but you will need to provide him with your measurements. The belt is about 2.25" wide white CORDURA like, approve-able at Centurion level too.

Tops of biceps and thighs are very common sizing areas. I'm short so ended up griding away at both the top and bottom of my thighs its good chance to see if you want to do the finn mods or just make sure you reshape the thigh to look more accurate. Make sure you double check ref pics and draw out your lines and recheck before making any cuts.

Shins are looking good and on the correct legs (noting the inside halves have the longer ankle piece). I'd also suggest if you have your boots to test fit with them on as the shins will sit highers as well as the top of the boot adds width to your leg. Working on the shins/calves and it's not looking bad after cutting them down to the 20mm. I am curious if I have them on the correct legs and if they look good. Besides that bicep that I am going to need to form, this part has been something I have been worried about. Let me know if it looks like I have the correct pieces together and on the correct legs. In a perfect scenario, the cover strips on the front of the thighs should extend all the way from the top down to the top of the bottom ridge. Since you may not have extra ABS strips to replace those, you should be able to fill in the gap(s) with ABS paste, which would give you a cleaner look. "I also have noticed a gap on the thigh pieces, I figured all I would need to do is use the abs paste to fill those up, sand, and buff it out. Would this look bad? Is there another way I should approach it"? Unless they are loose, I would leave them as is. Keep the questions coming!

Been a long week, with a family member having a heart attack and not having a day off since last Wednesday and yesterday being my day off, I gotten some stuff done. Minor stuff. I was going to go to my first armor party, but with my future mother in law having a heart attack and my fiancé dad having a triple degree temperature, there’s very little I can do. But here’s the minor things I did on my day off. Did some repairs on my biceps. I took some material off by mistake a long time ago, so I fixed it. (Somebody recommended what grits to use while sanding down ABS paste to a smooth touch?) Also rounded the coverstrips, didn’t like my angle cuts, looked like crap. Heres what they looked like before... I plan to dismantle the left arm, add the new cover strips, and repair my bicep. Yesterday purchased my boots and accurate straps from “Imperial Boots.” That will take four weeks to come in. That gives me time to get all the arms and thighs done minus shins, will wait when boots come in. In the meantime. Back to it before seeing Avengers today! One more to add, the clamshell handguards, tutorial how to cut them properly?

First of all, Thank you all for the warm welcome, I'm honored to be working towards becoming a member of such a friendly group of people. Yes, RS informed me that my order will take eight weeks to build, it is a commission made to my measurements and specifications. I'm alright with waiting, it'll be worth the wait I'm sure. I am very much interested in qualifying for EIB and Centurion, I ordered not only the armor, but also the helmet, the blaster, the soft pieces, the body suit, and the strapping. I've been doing research into checklists for EIB and Centurion and I look forward to seeing my armor in person so I can evaluate the small details more closely.
