Ab buttons. I made vinyl masks with my Cricut. The edges of the vaccuum forming aren't sharply defined, so I tried to judge where the edge transitioned.

Normally anyone with a build prior to CRL updates are taken into consideration, you have a build thread here so it makes it easy to prove There is a discussion going at them moment and I'm sure there will be a confirmation post at some stage in regards to CRL leeway.

Quick little mod I'm able to share today before heading out to the Atlanta Braves troop this afternoon... Have you seen @gmrhodes13 kidney/butt tab modification? Basically, it's a small piece of plastic that you glue to your butt plate to prevent it from sliding out and away from the kidney. After seeing his diagrams of how it looks, I had to give it a go. And it's total genius! Here is his diagram: And here's how I did mine. I made two of them, one for each side of the butt plate. (I suppose I could make a few more, but two seems sufficient for now.) I used a scrap piece of thick ABS and marked 3cm for the outer parts of the tab, and allowed about 1cm for each of the interior bend areas. It's just a guide as I heated and formed things up. I stacked four paint stir sticks together to help form the interior shape. After some heat gun shaping, I ended up with this: I realized that the interior white part would be visible between the armor pieces, so I hit it with some flat black to conceal the tabs. Then I glued down just the half on the butt plate. This retains the vertical movement between the butt plate and kidney, but won't allow any horizontal movement from the butt plate outside of the line of the kidney. Everything is in a state of curing right now, so I can't try it on. That said, here's what the outside looks like with the tab installed... I'm trying to push the butt plate out of line of the kidney (my hand is out of frame), and it just stays lined up. Behold! So much in line! I can't wait to try on my kit once the glue is fully cured. No more butt plate pop! HUGE thanks to Glen for sharing this awesome little kit improvement!

Thanks, Andrew! I think this build is taking me so long because I know exactly what you all nitpick over (), and I'm trying to make sure that everything is good to go when I apply for EIB/Centurion. That said, I know that I'm going to miss a few things, no matter how much I try to cover all the details!

I have applied for the Japanese Garrison for now, I am still doing my blaster..

I didn't have any ABS wide enough, so I used HIPS to reinforce the shoulder straps. They feel pretty skookum now.

You forgot butter...you need butter (and maybe a pinch of salt). When you are ready to dip, have the cold water running and be aware of hot water dripping from the armor. For my bells, I did 15 sec to start (learning curve). You will quickly get the hang of it. -Good Luck!

Hi Dan. Good question. As Joseph said, it depends on where you will do your trooping the most. The good thing is you are not locked into a garrison forever and you can apply for transfers. There is one member in japan who resides in Japan but is registered in another country garrison. There is some flexibility as long as you provide a reason I would assume if you transfer. I wanted to join the Empire State Garrison when I join seeing I am originally from NY but since live in Japan, I will troop mostly here and could not justify signing up to a garrison that I am not living near or will spend any time with unless its once a year on vacation. Oh, BTW.... I am happy if you join the JG!!!!
