  1. As Glen mentioned the tips need a little work to be approved by most GMLs today. You can replace the screen mesh and paint the insides and top rim white, or you can buy a set of my audio tips. Approved even at the higher levels. You would want option #2 on my sales page. https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/31436-fs-ukswraths-hovi-mic-tips-with-speakers-crl-accurate-tips

  3. It’s correct. The numbers can vary from 9-16 so no worries and this particular helmet (as looking at it) has 15 on the left and 16 on the right.

  4. Rather than jedi-robe, imperial boots' set are actually cheaper (and better quality too). https://www.imperialboots.com/product/421/

  5. Hey Jim, besides the soles and side elastic being a little thick they should be fine. Here's some screen used boots to compare to.

  6. Hi Anovos cloth belt is acceptable for EIB but for Centurion the past ones didn’t hold muster I’m afraid. If you want Centurion and the belt is to ”floppy” then TM troopermaster has very similar plastic as Anovos, you kan find him here or on FB

  7. In this pic the right goes on the right as looking at the helmet Reference of the helmet these stripes are based on.

  8. Gonna attempt the strapping. Also added a bit more plastic to the shoulder bridges so that they really catch the chest plate. Otherwise there will be a huge gap between the two, requiring a YUUUGE glob of glue. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

  9. No worries. Your only concern will be storage. Shoulders to cod is about 3'. This is not a big deal considering screen accurate assembly is pretty much the same setup but with brackets and straps.

  11. My other accomplishment has been the installation of the electronics set-up from @ukswrath. Let me say, if you need anything like this I am quite impressed. Hearing assist, hovi mic speakers, cooling fans bracket. Added a Bluetooth transmitter and Bluetooth earbuds to keep me from being "plugged" into the bucket with traditional earbuds. Here are the hovi mics from the speaker system. The plastic ones simply unscrewed from the bucket. I had to then drill a slightly larger opening for the speaker posts, but was very easy to put in. Aside from the sound ability, I believe these make my hovi tips Centurion rated. The original ones were going to need some interior painting if they remained in place. Interior electronics. I wish I could make them look a bit more organized. Good news is no one really looks inside except when I'm showing it. After playing around trying to fit it to my ear. I remembered that this could be mounted in the bucket. That's what I've done here and I much prefer that set-up.

  13. Hi Andrew and congrats on making the best decision of your life. As mentioned above - are you going for Hero or Stunt? You will need to make some modifications to the helmet if you are going for Hero. Mark does indeed include a green lens in his kit (flat - stunt version). Although screen accurate, I find that lens a bit too transparent - people can see your eyes in pictures. I opted for a darker lens as provided by Mike at Trooperbay.com. Any dark green welding lens would work too - unless you are going for Hero, then you need to source curved lenses. The AP kit does include a lot of the little extras (split rivets, any visible snaps, frown mesh, screws for the helmet and ears, etc). As for a neck seal, I used Geeky Pink (Teresa or "Soulart" here on the forums). You'll want to get more magnets. Good luck on the build!

  14. Hi Andrew! AP includes flat lenses with the helmet kit. As for the lens type, I have a quick question: Are you going for ANH Stunt or Hero? The reason I ask is that I noticed the TK Laser sword (lightsaber) which is used with Hero armor. If you are indeed doing a Hero build and are aiming for Expert Infantry (and above) you will need the bubble style lenses, remove the center ear screws and cover the holes with ABS paste and modify the ear bumps to 3. If you choose to wear the Laser sword for basic approval (and above) you won't need a holster, though! If you are going for ANH Stunt, the flat lenses included with the kit are fine, but don't wear the Laser sword for your approval photos. As for the neck seal, I have always recommended Darman. They are made to order for your specific neck size and the customer service is awesome: https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/21385-darmans-neck-seals/

  15. Hello and welcome, looking forward to seeing your build progress. Lenses depends on what version TK you are building Stunts have flat and Hero have bubble, check out the other differences in this doc: https://drive.google.com/file/d/10tEVteIreh6AHMogW010cuH_Bf8TBfU6/view Also make sure you check out the corresponding CRL's for 501st approval Stunt here, Hero here. Good luck
