Well BBB day came and in it came one of Jim's Rogue One Stormtrooper Kits. Here are all of the parts laid out, minus the helmet which has yet to arrive. As most of you know it is made from flexible fiberglass but I didn't expect it to be as flexible as it is! And the detail is pretty good too. Needless to say I am excited. I have already done some trimming to fit and will be posting updates on my progress.

So As I spoke about in the first look thread, I'll be putting together the TLJ trooper helmets as I did with the TFA helmets. The way I work is to not rush a product out before it's accurate enough. I'm not interested in getting a product done to capitalize on the craze and cash in with a helmet that needs to be updated multiple times. When I produce this it will be as close as I'm able to get it to screen accurate. I think that right now we have enough details to do this, and I'm planning to be able to offer these helmets towards the end of September, well in time for TLJ premier. I will also offer these as kits and finished versions, with the same pricing structure as my TFA helmets. It is very early in the process and I will be posting updates as they come. Currently we're building a new model based on the photos we currently have, the knowledge of the TFA original props and photos we're seen so far from TLJ. Here are a couple very very first draft, rough shapes. Hey Chris, Following +1 Didn't realize these kits were now on sale? There's no sales thread on here or over on the RPF. By chance how did you manage to come by the kit?

Hey Diego! Don't panic! I cut off the bottom chest return (plus a little more) on purpose, and I rebuilt it without any issues. You'll only need a centimeter or so for that new return, so all is not lost. Here's where I outlined what I did to rebuild my return. Hope it helps you!

Clear coat will just give some depth to the shine, really depends what paint you use, for my FOTK which has to be painted I used automotive paint which you can either clear coat or not, I do prefer the clear coat finish and easier to buff off scratches. If you don't clear coat the more you buff the paint the thinner it will get.

Very cool! Where did you find this gem? 1942 M47? Nice, havent seen that version yet. Amazing find as usual Chris!

Mine arrived today! I've got a bit of bondo and light sanding work to do to correct some minor imperfections, but after building the Anovos TFA armor it's certainly nothing I can't handle. Especially since the helmet will need to be prepped for painting anyway. But as far as the size, shape, and accuracy details go, I'm quite pleased with it.
