Outstanding TX! I think the only items that are not clear are the side gaps and ensuring we can see the split butt plate.

Otherwise I think you've got all the bases covered. :duim:

I'd like to point out for those that are unsure that:

1. No, FISD is not covering Stealth Trooper

2. This is an honory program for our Stealth brothers until such time as they their own "elite" program up and running

As our own XO - SuperTrooper - is also a TX I'd like to ask that he review this to for a final thumbs up. :)

What material is your belt made out of? Also, it looks like your holster is a hybrid of ANH (left-mounted) and ESB (looped over the belt). Is that OK, or do you have to go with one or the other?

Overall, looks real sharp!

Here is a picture of the sides, I thought you might get a better picture with it off and you can see how I attached it. Also a picture of the split butt plate.

Wide Open and shows some of my suspension belting.

Also my belt is made from a leather belt that I stitched a cover made from the same material I used to cover the side gaps. It stretches to a tight fit when its on. Held on with velcro in the front and then snaps hold the rest on.

Good question on the holster, it is looped and I like to wear it on the left. I'm not sure if it's required (ANH or ESB) since I'm a TX. (Just checked the requirements and as of now it states"* Holster may be attached via ESB style instead of ANH style" ) I just thought with the Hasbro it looked cool on the left.

Hope I'm on the right track. I know this is only a honory program, but i would like to be one of the first to try.

Thanks again guys. :salute:

Hey, over at spec ops someone was asking about this. Once we get our CRLs pounded out, maybe we can see if Luis wants to pursue adding this in to Spec Ops.

Now I just have to ask myself when I'm going white... That Incinerator Trooper was looking nice... ;)

Here are a couple more pictures so you can get a better idea maybe,

Side pieces that I used sign plastic and material glued onto for the gaps

My BFG made out of bass wood I carved before painting,

It is still able to be taken apart for transport and storage. All the parts I made so it slips together and the main barrel holds it all together. I do still need to get my pouches but it is fun to troop with. I know it's not required for EIB, I'm just throwing this in for fun.

Thanks everyone for looking,

Honorary EIB.............almost there..............?

Well your TX has mine beat, I still have some fine tuning to do. The only thing I'll have to talk to Paul about is the belt. TK EIBs use canvas, on my TX I used black duck cloth, and on yours it looks like black vinyl. Other than that you have a stellar kit, nice job. :duim:

Ok let me know what you think I can work on getting another belt if need and make it black.

I would like to Thank You all again for even suggesting a Honorary EIB for the Stealth. :salute:

I think it's something we didn't think about when we put the EIB together. My take would be that a canvas belt would be EIB, but a shiny leather one be OK for CRL.

Or, if the intent is to have the model be a shiny belt than the patent leather is the way to go for sure.

The problem is that there have never been any real TX suits made for film. My $.02 would be to allow leather for CRL, canvas for EIB just for consistency across stormtrooper based costumes.

Good points on both accounts. I went with the shiny because the rest of my armor is so shiny. I thought it just went well with it. I know that one of the problems is the reference for this armor wasn't in any movies so it's hard to get a good reference. I'm aware of the movie belts and canon, but since mine was so shiny just a shiny belt made since.

I'm willing to get a canvas belt and see what it would look like. I'm sure it will look fine. I know over at the Spec Ops right now this whole EIB is under discussion. I hope they will come to agreement and see that a EIB type status just adds to the hobby and really is just for fun.

For me the whole reason to armor up was to help out with charities and to have some fun. EIB or not I'm still having fun.

Thanks again,

So is the Stealth Trooper not part of Spec Ops?

EDIT: Reread post... please ignore skipped a post between all those pics.

They're still debating it over there, but for now they dont' have one. I took our EIB and modified it based on their CRL as best I could, then used some visual references to tighten it up even more.

Hey Bill, I just gotta say that your TX suit is viscious looking!!!!

Thanks Tom for the note. The Spec Ops is in the process of working on a Visual CRL and soon I think things will be lined out better for the boys in black. Hey nothing wrong with being a little vicious............Right?
