Another TE2 suit coming up.

Recommended Posts

Hi troops :) .

I got this beauty from our very own master T, 3 days ago (got the helmet today).

I trim the the body armor today, and it only took me 130 minuttes.

I only used these two sharp dudes for the job:

Wow :) you have a few suits :duim:

2 for display, 2 for trooping.

+ my wife is also a 501st, so she use them too as she likes.

+ i will give one to my son, if he likes one, when he gets older.

I love all the figures in the old saga, but i only collect ANH stunt stormtrooper suits, and sandtroopers.

So i seems crazy, but some in my garrison have even more, just different ones, like tie, snow, scout, vader etc.

Cheers :)

130 minutes? I bet you can trim armour in your sleep :)

Looks great Rolf as ever, i really look forward to reading your build threads

Ha ha all most bro.

But today i was slow, i used about 4 hours to make the bicep, arms, legs, shins to fit right, and glue the strips on whit E6000...

New pictures up asap :)

nice one mate, its about time you got back into armour.Do you still think you are getting your DL suits?

Copy that big time bro :) .

I sold my last suits in december, and buy the DL suits there.

But they are on delay, so i want back in armor now.

I think i will get the DL suits, but not sure when...

I'm stunned by how fast you trim these suits Rolf. Great work, as always.

Thanks bro.

I have been working hard on him again today.

Cheack it out BAM!!! :D

It took a long time to match the parts 100% good together, but now they are good to go.

I tape them up from the inside to hold the shape, before i E6000 glue the strips on.

This time i did not use clamps, because they can´t reach the middle of the parts.

I therefor used a strong paint tape (it leave no glue on the parts, after taken off).

I will let the E6000 glue dry to tomorrow, before the tape comes off.

Do you glue together both the front, and back of the arm and leg pieces? or do you apply velcro ?

Do you paint after all the glue is done?
