This just started happening the last few days.   I keep getting logged out of the forum where as before I stayed logged in.  If I leave and come back 30 minutes later I have to log in again.  It used to just keep me logged in so long as I regularly visited the forum.  I've made no changes on any of my settings and don't see anything about this setting regardless.  Any insight?  Thanks..

What browser are you guys using? I'm on edge on desktop and samsung browser on mobile, no issue to date.

I use Zen, Chrome, iOS Firefox and Safari on iOS. Happy to do more in-depth testing if you want me to rule out specific browsers or look at what’s actually happening. (I’m a web developer.)

I logged in this morning and selected "Keep me logged in".

The response from the server for the login request was:

{"key":"[hidden for security reasons]","expiry":"1755649169"}

When I check what that timestamp is with a unix epoch timestamp converter I get the attached photo. From this it appears my token expires 8 minutes after it was issued.

Is that the expected session duration? I'd expect "keep me logged in" to result in longer sessions than this. If this is not expected behaviour this would be caused by either a setting in the forum software for session duration, or a misconfigured clock that thinks it's earlier than it is.

Chrome on iOS on my MacBook - no problems.

Chrome on iOS on the iPad - fine until a couple of hours ago, then it logged me out and won’t let log back in.

Safari on the iPad - working so far.

Edit: And it just logged me out in Safari, but re-logged me in in Chrome 🤷🏻‍♂️

I'm back to being logged out whenever I leave so it was only working as expected for a few hours this morning.

Today is the first day mine has stayed logged in for a while. I was being logged out after an hour or so daily.

I'm not completely sure what the root issue is yet, but I'm now aware of it the issue you're having.

What can do, if you know how to find out, is to post whether you are behind carrier-NAT or not and post it here.

I am indeed behind carrier grade NAT on my home connection and via mobile. At work I am not behind carrier grade NAT, but was seeing the issue earlier today from that connection. That's still a shared connection though.

Same issue here.

Buts it seems tobe OK now.

There has been some interference with the cloudflare caching. I'm now experimenting with what works best.

Big thanks to @kevin_kevinfor helping me troubleshoot!
