zemzero
When I bend my arms the strapping bends outward and is highly visible. How can I fix this? I assume the gap is too large but if I move the forearm up, too much of my wrist shows. If I move the bicep down, then there is a gap between it and the bottom of the shoulder. humperdingle
Shouldn't the snaps be in line with the internal cover strip?
zemzero
I have no idea, that "billogram" was sort of confusing and I thought I saw strapping that was offset, as I made mine.
Skypig[TK]
With a black under suit, it won't be that noticeable.
themaninthesuitcase[Admin]
The strap looks too far down the arm to me. With out going to get an arm out of my bin I think it wants to be so that the edge of the elastic is level with the edge of the trim strip. This shortens the whole thing and stops the loop forming. TKZombie[TK]
They are way to far apart. Put your undersuit on the forearm needs to come higher up with your glove and hand plate on I doubt there will be much of a gap at the wrist.
zemzero
Alright, I moved the straps back toward the elbow more and shortened their lengths. I'm liking this change. Edited May 6, 2016 by zemzero
ComradeDave[TK]
That coverstrip on your wrist is definitely going to be a pain later bud. I would suggest trimming that baby down.
zemzero
yeah, it's on the list of things to do still. I made them longer just in case I made any mistakes. They'll sand down no problem. My suit is about 90% complete and I can't wait.
kman[TK]
That 1" strap will work, but you may have an easier time with a thicker 2" piece of elastic. That's what the screen used armor used. This video is helpful as well: ------------ Edited July 11, 2022 by gmrhodes13 link removed no longer working
RLH2515[TK]
Hmmm I put my strapping on the back and only used 1". I may try this and see if it helps my forearms from twisting on me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
