If silk or satin gloves are worn, the hand plates have the correct visible stitching pattern using black cotton, with a five point/star pattern, equally spread out with 2 on each side and 1 in the middle front, and needs to be double stitched at each point. Locitus[Admin] Posted July 3, 2014 Report Share Posted July 3, 2014 It should depend on if you wear silk gloves or rubber (both kinds were used in the movie). Silk/cotton should be stitched on. But regardless, just because there has been incorrect judgments in the past, does it mean we should keep doing them. Should you change to rubber gloves, you should not have the holes where the stitching goes. So I would recommend just adding the extra stitches.
