YouCantBe Sidious[TK]
Anti-procrastination Doopy Doos Hasbro Mod post... 1) Started off breaking in my new dremel, hollowing the rail, removing the lower-left T-Track and then using the drill to create the new holes on the barrel. I may have drilled the new holes a bit low and my largest bit wasn't as big as the original holes, but I went ahead with it. 2) Used the dremel to remove the orange tip bit. 3) Scratched off all the unnecessary lettering stuff. 4) Used a small hand saw to cut off the scope 5) Started to use a screwdriver as others had done to remove back of scope, then said, "sod the lot of it" and drilled the daylights out of the back of it. Made it very easy to pop it off. 6) Started gluing bits on. Always good having a surplus of rubber bands. 7) Gluing more bits on. 8) I used a Walgreens pill bottle end (used dremel to trim down) and the popular "roll of tape" bits for the inside of the scope. 9) Comparing unpainted Hasbro Mod to Hyperfirm 10) A regular sized straw will fit over the little LED bulb in the nozzle. I stuck this on here for paint. 11) Hanging up for the paint job in the garage. 12) Drying. Next up, a full armor build! But first, a photo of our guitar collection at http://www.rivetheadonline.com
darksideemt
Good job, but... You put the resin t-tracks on the wrong sides. They are slightly different lengths, the long one is suppose to go on the left side and cover all the holes, the shorter goes on the right side and is not suppose to cover the last hole towards the barrel end. That's just nit picking though. Again good job!

YouCantBe Sidious[TK]
Good job, but... You put the resin t-tracks on the wrong sides. Yikes... Thanks for pointing it out... If I didn't have a L and R in my shoes, they'd be on the wrong feet too... he he he
HockeyTrooper[TK]
Looks great! I like the use of the pill bottle to add color to the inside of the scope, and the use of the straw to cover the light was pretty clever as well! TrooperVenger
Nice build. Also nice guitar collection, but I notice a serious lack of BC rich warbeast guitars

YouCantBe Sidious[TK]
We're a bit like Static-X meets Pantera meets Rammstein meets Disturbed. http://rivetheadonline.com/ http://www.youtube.com/RIVETHEADTX#g/u http://itunes.apple.com/us/artist/rivethead/id61546603 Wonder how difficult it is to play guitar on stage in full Stormtrooper armor? Probably a bit. The bicep/forearm area really gets decreased mobility once you put armor on. That and you get increased armor bite. Also, can you play guitar with gloves on? I wouldn't say it's impossible. It just won't be easy and I wouldn't recommend jumping around all over the place either. Stormtroopers are like turtles. When they fall down they stay down. Figured it probably wasn't a good idea... Although, I haven't received my armor yet (it's on order), I have already been asked to officate a Star Wars themed wedding in August in Dallas. That be the limit of my stage work in armor. I did a wedding two Halloweens ago as The Borg.
bobojuice
I suppose if you really had to you could lock your biceps in a bit higher than normal and get some of those BLACK latex examination type gloves they sell at auto parts stores. Borg you say? Got any pics you'd like to share? Post them in a PM and send them to me.
